Florida Governor Ron DeSantis came out Monday to assure Floridians that the state was doing all it can to keep gas flowing, but with so many people evacuating so quickly, it seems there was no way to keep every station topped off.”

Well there are police wearing “I’m voting for the convict” shirts, so it shouldn’t be a surprise.

Republicans’ “pro-American worker policies.”

The idea that union folks would support Trump (or any Republican whose party is historically anti-union) is mind-blowing. Where’s that meme of the guy shooting himself in the foot?

Pounce and Generate ... that fits. Effin’ cops ... too many of them think they are not only “above the law”, they “are” the law. While the truth is too many of them don’t know the laws they pretend to enforce.

This wasn’t even a police chase, makes this even more senseless.

I thought true Patriots didn’t evacuate?

Run a register? Die for your betters, Florida demands it!

Stay safe, neighbor. Dunedin here.

That’s weird. I was assured by many randos here a few years ago that gas stations had no problems when it came to disasters.

That’s Meatball Ron for you. Clueless, but his supporters are so dumb they think whatever gibberish that comes out of his mouth is brilliance. I love those occasions when the national spotlight catches him and shows for all what a doofus he is.

Those south of the St. Pete seem to be the ones in a lot of trouble, but fortunately this is turning into a large inconvenience for those not in flood zones (which is still the majority).  I do hope any of that at risk got out or moved to shelters (as awful as those

We’re in a do not evacuate zone, so we’re staying.

This is where I think we do need the Federal or at least state government to step in for future proofing.

The time is coming up fast when gas station employees will start to evacuate. Especially if they have kids.

Oh - and it’s not like we have other options to evacuate. The airports are shut down and we don’t exactly have mass transit.

No surprise: DeSantan is lying. All one has to do is check their socials to back that up. And price gouging has commenced where they HAVE gas - nice jump up today a bit more than usual Monday to Tuesday increase.

Traffic on I-75 North between Macon and Atlanta was a mess this morning with evacuees fleeing the storm, and gas prices as some stations have jumped $0.20/gal.
