1st Generation Ford Taurus. Looked like the space shuttle compared to the boxy cars that were normal of that era. Seemed super futuristic in comparison when it first came out.  Looking back at them now its hard to believe that seemed cutting edge, but it definitely seemed like it was at the time.

Hey no one is forcing you to stick around, or click on the article, or comment multiple times.

Did it take the fire department four hours to put out the fire from that crash?  Was there nobody in the driver’s seat?  Can you see how the two are different?

One person was in the passenger seat and the other in the back seat, so nobody was driving the car, ok that ended as expected. Darwin award.

Wait, wait, don’t start blaming the victim, the tree was just growing there.

That’s all he needed. I don’t condone violence on anyone and I realize any of his subordinates punching him would end in having their lives and careers ruined but I’d be totally down for hiring a stranger to catch him leaving the theater or restaurant and throwing a hard right hook to remind him that he’s not god.

This will come as an absolute shock to you, but in countries outside of the US (yes, they do exist), wearing medals without one’s military uniform is quite the norm at certain events (such as parades for veterans, funerals for fellow veterans and soldiers, etc) and not out of the ordinary.. Nor do we think it looks

I’m sure there are grosser things than doing a play-by-play analysis of sibling’s interaction at their grandfather’s funeral, but I’m struggling to come up with an example right now.

Person of Interest is one of my all time favorite shows. John was like my 9th favorite character on it, but he was fine. The av club reviews and forums for it were great, after they got over their annoying decision to drop coverage during the first season because the reviewer thought it was just a boring procedural.

Of course this just HAD to happen when I’m watching through Person of Interest for the first time. It’s actually quite good.

We’ve known since at least The Passion in 2014 that the dude was a right-wing fucknugget. There were all these puff pieces at the time how he was a mega-Catholic that basically lived like it was the year 1079.

this is a great take and in no way shape or form should be considered bad.

Gas taxes should be higher. Like, much higher.

The dude had taste, I think we can all agree on that. As far as hearses go, that one is pretty badass.

This is my thought. Combined with those 97% and 88% numbers cited for measles and mumps, it’s pretty obvious that vaccine-induced herd immunity is the best first line of defense against any disease. The fewer people who can get and spread the contagion in the first place, the less breakthrough infections become a

I always get the flu shot each year and I have no issues adding a Covid shot as well.

At least we know it’s not venomous, unlike its Australian counterpart the Inland Gluten Snake.

It’s ‘mille mille’ meaning ‘thousand thousand’, which is basically an antiquated form of ‘million’ used almost exclusively in the finance industry these days. Why it’s in an announcement on banned accounts from a tech company is beyond me.

This is fascinating to me because I didn’t even notice a sound!
