It’s true, the Element is classy.

This is the perfect absolutely-no-fucks-left-to-give vehicle and I want it.

So you’re saying that my Kia Rio STI with the big wing is bound to get pulled over ?

Hmm... Are they counting the STI separate from the WRX, in this case? If not, it’s the wing. Cops watch for the wing.

And if it HAS to be a specific song, couldn’t it be “Just A Gigolo?”

If we HAVE to stand for a specific song, and HAVE to put our hands on our hearts or risk getting jacked are we really free?

Higher chance of him having to eat a bear’s ass in prison

it would absolutely whip ass if this guy was eaten alive by a bear or something

I wonder how one confuses Turin with Munich.

Automobili Pininfarina, the Munich-based Italian automaker,

Heh.

I’d agree. But we’re comparing to the C8 here. It’s both much lighter, and much smaller - 400 hp is a lot of HP for that car.

The C8s listed weight is the dry weight. The Evora’s listed weight is the curb weight. The C8 is going to be ~400 lbs heavier.

Hell, I’m even gonna star that because you make a good point, even though I think Porsche 911 money for this maintenance whore is a stretch...

Ahem, you DID see how much this Evora weighs, right?

The C8 may well have raised the bar.

I’d never get a C8 over this. Almost no one has a chance to really wring out lap times out of a car, my enjoyment is 100% about how the car involves me and how it feels. The weight difference alone makes a huge difference in the steering. Size makes a huge difference in involvement. Doesn’t mean other people wouldn’t

You are right on all counts. Elise/Exige are holding values shockingly well for the same logic.

Well, truth be told you and I both “want” one... but in Jalop tradition we need a bunch to sell to guys that will spend that kind of money on one new....

The experience of ownership and driving is going to be worlds apart, C8 vs Evora. The C8 will be well-rounded and more liveable, but it’s not going to feel as extreme if only by virtue of the Evora’s tiny cockpit. And some people will find the hand-made experience charming and interesting.
