Kodak Zi8 is a slightly better choice imho. Removable battery, can shoot in 1080p removable SD storage as well and an external microphone input.

@WetSkeletonz: I just finished listening to it all the way through. I highly doubt this was a 2007 MJ (or even MJ at all). Towards the latter part of his career his voice began to show some small signs of age and raspyness (spelling) that is just not present.
