I think you're supposed to read things that offend and challenge you as a student in one of the most prominent universities in the nation. It's not porn - its drawings of adult situations.

Not really. He took a pledge to act a certain way and dress a certain way long after that and returning to Gotham. He didn't become Batman yet. I'm not saying its a good *moral* argument, but it does make sense to make the distinction between Batman and Bruce Wayne and what the cowl means.

And that hood!

The video games have also stretched that to a new level of unbelievable with the batmobile, which only incapacitates dudes when you shoot them with a 40mm cannon or hit them with your car going 80MPH.

Or the rocket thing. That's a weird survivor's guilt thing to think, "that man was supposed to kill me. Instead, he missed and killed someone else. Therefore, I'm guilty."

Batman not killing also makes the character more palatable and more guilt-free than say, Paul Kersey in Death Wish, which is a fascist nightmare (I really like those movies FOR that reason).

Bats, however, are excellent drivers.

"You were going to fall on your own. I wanted to do it myself."

I'd like more extended sequences though, where our hero has to actually hid from the bad guys in the shadows and doesn't get found out within seconds because they think the scene will be more interesting. I feel like so many action movies BEGIN with the stealth sequence, then things go to pot within moments.

Didn't people think the second Lord of the Rings' title was disrespectful to 9/11, too?

IIRC, one of the lovers in the movie Remember Me dies in 9/11…

Where were you when Luigi & Daisy devolved the WTC?

As long as you're not feeling bitter about it it's okay.

Or, world conquering instead of territories, and have Ratchet & Clank like flying between worlds. Different space-gangs occupy different planets, etc.Parts could be firefly-esque space-western, parts could be Protoss/Covenant-like shiny worlds, parts could be Zerg-like infections, etc. Just basically intergalactic

It's also a post-transgender game. You can switch back & forth between genders willy nilly and the characters don't even recognize it.

Can you name some examples? I still think a Splinter Cell movie could work marvelously.

American Ultra doesn't look half-bad.

In particular, there's an apartment escape sequence in I believe Hitman Contracts that's basically aping the end of the Professional, a movie the game series owes a huge debt to.

Is there a single movie that's ever nailed stealth satisfyingly? Even the Metal Gear Solid cutscenes are typically Snake being discovered for a boss fight, or him talking to characters in breaks from the stealth - there's almost no cutscenes that show him being stealthy for anything other than a few seconds.

I think it would be fun if it was structured like Ocean's 11, and we get to see him put the pieces into play and kind of know what he's going after, but still leaving some of it as a surprise. You have to adapt the language of film to make it surprising, but still nail what the character is about: methodical,
