On 05 Acura TL I used to own, if you press the unlock button twice on the key fob and hold down the button on the second press, it will roll down all the windows and the sunroof. Perfect for airing out the cabin after having it parked under the sun in the summer. Also if you put the key in the driver side door then

Main purpose of these small batteries seems to be its ability to function as an accumulator/capacitor for the regenerative portion of city and mountain pass driving to improve overall efficiency of the vehicle. I am curious if it comes with any 110v outlets so it can be used as a generator/battery pack for camping.

This is so true. I got an Outback so I don’t have to worry about scraping my bumper/avoiding massive potholes and overfilled repair spots. And I kid you not 10 min drive up a gravel road to a cabin in NH is smoother than some of the roads around Boston. This is especially noticeable during the return trip.

Well.. I can give you a worst case scenario of a CPO purchase. I bought a 5 year old CPO outback a few years ago. I knew I wanted a used outback but not too old. I was replacing a TL and it seemed like a good fit (both around 3600lbs, 250 hp, fwd to awd). Did the research and found 4th gen outback with the six

I think as long as you put some oil on the seal before installing it should be okay. Only time I’ve seen a filter giving an issue is if it was installed dry.

Nissan’s subprime loans gives it an edge over mustangs.

Except for people in NH.

Increase the price of garbage collection. It’s a great motivator and I’ve seen it work in other countries as well as some towns in US.

Okay fine. They can get a roof rack/box.

Very select few marched forward with innovation while the rest remained the same.

If you plan to use eye sight in traffic, cvt seems to be made for it. It’s perfect for casual drives, paddle shifting when needed felt adequate. I’ve had 2016-17 forester, crosstrek, outback and legacy as loaners for a few days each.

That is my concern in a way.. because not too many of them get sent in the shop. I just have to have my fingers crossed that the dealer tech does a good job. Just going to leave a coffee shop gift card with the car and hope for the best.

Although I would agree about H6 in general. As someone who is getting the HG replaced tomorrow on 2011 3.6, your mileage may vary.

Went to an auto show to check out this car. Fantastic interior! Once the first year models produce some decent ownership reviews, I’m hoping this will be my next car. I also hope they update the tail lights during a refresh.

It’s because Subaru is known for their low cost manufacturing. Upside of it is interchangeable parts between more models/trims.

I’m getting a subaru outback/minivan hybrid vibe. Pretty cool for how much they cost.

AWD is not needed over snow tires... but it’s definitely worth it if you live on the snow belt. It makes life so much easier, not to mention the added fun. I thought this was Jalopnik, not consumer reports.

That is interesting.. I’ve been chasing that ping on my 2011 outback... I was sure something was wrong because when ever it happens it feels like I’m running on half the cylinders right before I let off the gas. I was like “why would a six cylinder do this when 4 cylinder ones run fine?” But I guess the cvt’s work

They should get DK and have him deliver tofu to the finish line.

Second generation Infiniti M. Love the boxy look.
