I gave up on the walking dead after the cliffhanger of season 6, it was so dissatisfying and made me not care as much by the time I saw who Negan killed in season 7. The show failed to respect my time and anticipation by giving us 8 episodes of build-up and then forcing us to wait again.
I dumped that show after the season premiere with Negan. It gave me nothing. Haven’t turned it on since then.
I feel like this is a good sentiment but you give terrible examples.
