STOP ABC STOP!!

Do not ruin the legacy of The Middle with a terribly conceived spin-off.

Classic Kasdan. “My words are sacrosanct. My punctuation is spiritual! Change nothing!”

Is this the first time these widescreen aspect ratios have been used? The Dolores/Arnold conversations weren’t in widescreen during S1, I hope. I don’t recall now.

> Nerds are one of the most reliable income streams

This show stopped being funny at S4. S5 hasn’t changed anything.
I wish this show had never done anything after S3. We would all continue to think highly of it. It’s become such a sad version of its former self.

“... he wanted to launch a “credibility site” where people could rate news sites ...”

I was pleasantly surprised by this series. Not sure how I feel about Kreese returning, he was a tad too evil in the original films and not sure how it will play in the series.

Exactly. Mayday had to supply her with the suicide vest. I find it hard to believe a Handmaid would have the time or resources to construct her own bomb. Not too mention, Ofglen was a junkie in the time before, so her ability to learn about bomb making would have been non-existent.

1975 adaptation. The novel was 1967. Peter Weir’s version was released 1975.

There will be no more mailbot. It had its big scene this season. We can be thankful for that. Anything in the final episodes would be a distraction.

Farting by itself is not sex. Farting on someone who is fully clothed is not sex. The recipient of your fart must be nude, then it is sex.

> Needed a little Cindy, but that’s my only complaint.

Sitcoms tend to get wackier and stupider as their runs continue, all in an effort to continually outdo themselves. Think Modern Family. The Goldbergs. Characters that tend to take single character affects and grow them out to extreme proportions.

But The Middle always remained reasonably grounded. Sue’s goofiness never

> No one was asking for the Hobbit

I don’t know. It’s just going to be made up shit. There’s very little to draw on between The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, especially via Aragorn/Strider. And especially given that Amazon wants to “Game of Thrones” it up, I don’t see how they do that. There isn’t much that’s political about Middle Earth at that time.

Now playing

Maybe we’ll get the sitar version for The Raj.

You’re joking right? Because this LotR thing sounds like $1B thrown down the drain. Developing a uber-expensive show that nobody was clamoring for.

The show is marvelous.

It’s nice that Russian bots are making themselves super obvious now.
