Television networks define their season budget based on how many episodes there will be. If they think they can get 3 million in advertising per episode, then the budget will likely be 2.5 million per episode. Just because they scale down to 13 episodes doesn’t mean they believe they can get 5 million in advertising…
It’ll be fine as a six season legacy show, an archive for people to watch, but they’ll want brand new content to bring in subscribers, not a show that’s been growing long in the tooth.
True, but since it appears Captain Marvel will be saving the day in Infinity 4, there might be a possible tie in with Captain Marvel in March, depending on where she ends up at the finale of that movie.
At any rate, it should all be interesting.
If it’s only 13 episodes, they could premiere it much later in the TV year, so that if Thanos does affect the show, it’s not affected for long.
I’d assume the sixth season will be the last season. I think they wanted to close out AoS with the MCU’s Phase 3. Plus, a 13 episode season (when 22 was the norm) is always a…
No problem. I read all the spoilers last week. I’m not bothered by being spoiled. I kinda prefer it actually.
I haven’t seen it yet. I just heard that Fury was in a post-credits scene contacting “someone”, so I assumed he wasn’t disintegrated.
Nick Fury is also in the Captain Marvel film. So, Coulson isn’t her only point of contact.
Refresh my memory? What is this story that Agent Davis keeps telling everyone?
That’s exactly what happened. Last Jedi rumors and theories were floating around for so long that many fans expected those would be the story. And when it didn’t happen, Cheetos dust flew.
The Last Jedi wasn’t great, but not because Snoke’s history wasn’t revealed, or because Rey wasn’t revealed to be a secret…
Damn it. After the LMoE cliffhanger, I wanted to see where it was going. I now have to assume they were all killed by the bunker people.
That’s what The Pirate Bay is for.
Good. I actually enjoyed the first season. It had some head-scratchers, the word nerd coming out of character mouths too often, or the wrong character mouths (like Daniel’s wife). But it was a decent follow-up to the films. Goofy and charming.
I’m glad there was no mail robot this episode. I love mail robot as much as the next person, but his appearance would have been distracting in an episode this heavy. I honestly hope that last episode, mail robot riding the elevator, is the last we see of it. That would, indeed, be a perfect parting.
I have no fucking idea who Grimes is. I look at the photo and all I see is someone trying hard as hell to be 24-year old Angelina Jolie.
> The CGI on that tiger was distractingly bad.
Correct. This isn’t Roseanne or NCIS. It requires attention. You can’t play a fucking video game and expect to keep track of what’s going on Westworld.
Has Dinesh ever got one over on Gilfoyle? I can’t think of a single example of that ever happening. I think Gilfoyle > Dinesh is a constant of their dynamic.
Earn is not good at life.
> jeez, the whole “Graviton juices people thing”
