My dream job would be to do what Matt Farah does, but with more photography (would love to see him flex that BFA more). I’d ditch the youtube side of things to focus much more on writing/photography while being to drive really cool cars basically anywhere.

I tried to put that in my own words, without the analogy, but he still doesn’t accept it. It is what it is I guess. He seems more concerned that right wingers are going to make fun of the opinion and criticism than actually demonstrating novel graphical improvements that we haven’t seen over the last decade.

I’ve seen this and am very familiar with the capabilities, but that’s not the demo in this article. That’s pretty much my gripe: we know what’s technically possible, so why showcase what’s safe and rote at this point? I’m not feeding right wing bullshit with that take IMO. Bad faith arguments would never bother with

That’s entirely the point. They’re saying that the Unreal engine demo shows, yet again, how good they are at rendering white features (I don’t think it’s a major leap to say other engines either). I’m not speaking entirely on artistic choices. If we want to talk about what’s realistic in terms of graphical fidelity

I suppose the texture of his hair is fine, I guess, but mans would get clowned endlessly if he showed up anywhere there are other black people with that hairline. That’s sort of the point being made in the article though. While it may be technically possible, game studios at large have the resources, but don’t give

Yup! Z31's are highly tuneable. If you’re willing to get a new ECU and injectors, 300+ whp is easy. Upgraded turbos put them close to 400, all on stock blocks.

the cool thing about them though is that with a manual boost controller cranked to about 10PSI and not much else, you could reliably get ~250whp. That probably puts 0-60 in a 4-5 second range but that’s more than respectable for a heavy (for the time) coupe

I know this wasn’t exactly what the main takeaway of your post is, but I’m glad to see someone else enjoyed speedrunning MGS on weekends while their younger siblings watched.

I think the linearity is a benefit actually. My opinion on that has only hardened as I’ve aged as well. The FF series are some of my favorite games ever, and I frequently like to go back and replay them, all the way back before the remakes when emulators were the only way to play them. I generally like to 100% these

Aside from the IRL cars, I think I like this better. I enjoy RP, and I think I’m pretty good at it, but life is such that I can’t necessarily dedicate time every single day to a server. There are some servers that are less RP heavy and focus more/exclusively on meets/racing that I enjoy more, but having the experience

The Clio V6. Thankfully I’ve seen that mid engined Civic in person, which is nice, but I want a real mid engine French hatchback. That or anything Tommykaira

I wanna do this so badly, but we also have grass and I don’t want a mower/whacker flinging rocks into my car. still looking for something that isn’t a straight up concrete pour

that’s exactly my thought. it’s nice to have first party support for what my favorite things about GTA are. The community on an RP server is obviously a bit better and more close knit, but this is a step in the right direction for sure. I’ll miss the IRL cars and (on some servers) lack of a broken economy, but this

I’ve heard of these before and seen their application, but couldn’t for the life of me figure out how they actually work. what a helpful video

my guilty pleasure has always been slammed Infiniti FX’s

I’ve had the best luck on the microsoft store itself. I got one for myself pretty easily using my microsoft account - no queues or captchas since my info was already stored.

spec e46 racing is so much fun

I feel like Saints Row didn’t get the credit it deserved. It was always in GTA’s shadow, but it truly was its own thing.

TBF, if you’re into modifications or want parts for an older model, that community is sort of an inevitability. I wish the vape/flatbill/monster was the worst of it at this point.

No wagon, no buy. I’m already over the Subaru “community” at this point and am pretty sold on a used S4. A wagon would make me rethink sticking around other subaru owners a bit longer
