I really should, but I don’t drive my car much at all anymore (less than 4k miles/year) and drive even less now. My “daily” has mostly been a weekend car since I live in a city with quite good public transit. I used to switch to all seasons right around now, or whenever the temp stays consistently <=40 degrees F, but

I’ve been toying with the idea of painting any new kits I get, including the one I’m working on now, but I find it so intimidating. Not to mention the amount of tabletop/desktop space it requires that I don’t have (at least that my partner wouldn’t mind me using for hours at a time). This has not helped one bit, but

thanks, I hate it

My neighbor has one of these and a tree fell on it during a storm. He fixed the damage and it’s still his daily. You’d be hard pressed to kill one of these. NP

I’m most likely going to get it on PC, since I want to run (presumably) the best looking version of the game on the best screen I have. Also, being a single player game, I’m hoping for mod potential down the line at some point

Yeah I’m fine with that honestly. I can run and do strikes, or gambit, or crucible and still be advancing things. I can focus on what I feel like rather than a single activity that quickly becomes rote and tiresome and has led to a lot of burnout with the game over the past two years.

2049 is still one of my favorite car games of all time. I’m in the “graphics do not a good game make” category of people, though I do enjoy a dedicated sim racer

All of my favorite TVRs (aside from the Griffith 400) are now becoming legal in the states. I don’t mind being the “bad decision” guy. NP

Good to know. I loath having ashy, dry hands, so this would absolutely do it

that’s kind of my point. Tesla being “right” here about what words mean isn’t solving the problem they’ve created. I agree that calling it autopilot probably should be enough to tell people what the capabilities are. Tesla, however, or maybe Musk himself, are the ones that are equating L5 autonomy/FSD with autopilot,

Agreed that it’s the worse. Not to mention, for years I though there was just a streak of dirty water running down everybody’s plates up until I realized that they just put a random double helix down the middle

The accidents and deaths caused by Tesla’s “autopilot” and the marketing of it as FSD make me inclined to disagree. I get your point, but I just don’t see it the same way

No Tesla (or any car) has autopilot

and you can always hear them coming because of their big knobby tires

I hate that it’s always the responsibility of the Democratic Party to meet the Republicans in the “middle” but there’s never any expectation of the Republicans to act like adults and do their jobs. It’s not reactionary. They fucked this up and were loud about it. There’s no “civility” to be had

Definitely NP territory. I’d maybe ask to drop the price a couple hundred to a thousand, only because I’m not sure if the sti requires a timing belt/water pump at 105k miles the same way the wrx does

It’s a little pricey for a winter beater, but if it runs and drives like advertised $3500 isn’t a bad deal for a car with a lot of utility. NP

It was a 6th gen accord for me. My family owned one and I had also played gran turismo for the first time - I think the second one. I saw the Euro R accord and in my child brain, this was the coolest thing in the world. I could race my dad’s car in a video game! In the next years, I learned that they were the same

I’ve seen a lot about the Quick Resume feature, but not anything about the seemingly dated idea of exiting to the dashboard and restarting a game completely. My worry is that if I find myself in a game and mess up somehow (single player of course) that I’d be locked into that playthrough rather than being able to
