I didn’t get much time in Mt. Airy, not that I would’ve been too interested in the culture there at that time anyways. Yeah, our downtown is decent.

255k? Wow. That’s impressive. Mine had 168,506 miles on it. I’ve been through a ton of cars since, but I’m in an Infiniti again. This time it’s a 2000 I30 with just under 260,000 miles. Nissan knows how to make durable engines. The J30 always spun out pretty easily. I remember the tail braking loose a couple times in…
Yup. Two minute MS paint job. Shows it just a bit better.
I’ve been in this exact model Camry before. Gold in color. You know, you can actually predict their future design language in this car. Remove the parts of the bumper separating the upper and lower grille and you get the Predator mouth.
Those Toyotas will just run forever.
Yes it was. And yes it is impressive. I’ve pulled it off by being generally broke, or having other expenses.
Y’know what? I kinda lied on my last post here. I didn’t even think of this one before.
That’s just being purely inept and/or lazy. I’d be getting on them big time for something like that.
Not really a road trip, but a trip about 180 miles out of town. My uncle’s van had been wrecked, so he had a rental van. It was a mid-2000s Dodge Caravan, and was almost brand new. Well, we’re about halfway to our destination when the tire blows on Interstate 70, in 70mph traffic, in the middle lane. My uncle at the…
I’m not a huge fan either. The refresh helped, but it still doesn’t do it for me. My fiancee loves it, which is cool for her, but to me, it’s just not that distinctive. And the 2011 I sat in just felt absolutely cheap, and I could barely see a thing out of it. I’m sure the interior’s better now, but the one I was in,…
Lord yes. They’re just abysmal. In fact, I don’t really like the concept too much at all as whole. Everything is just too big and busy. Though, from a 1999 POV, it kind of foretold what we’d be looking at in the following 10 years. A bit of a scary premonition.
I see some BMW i8 in the headlamps. However, that being said, I like the styling better than the lower-end models of the current Charger.
It obliterates the Moose into a million pieces. No more moose, no more moose test.
I don’t know if the Cuda actually will be a replacement, or if it will just slot below the Challenger. Since it’s expected to be a Dodge, which is performance-focused, I’d say they can justify having two sport coupes (or in the ‘Cuda’s case, a convertible as well) on the market. The ‘Cuda might be focused for tighter,…
Me too. I actually had the chance to sit inside a 2015 R/T model with the 5.7 and it feels very nice in there. Ergonomics are quite good. The shifter for the auto feels a little bit weird, but not terrible. They’re really quite awesome cars all around. I even revved the engine a bit. Even the 5.7 sounds pretty good.
Keep in mind, this concept debuted in 1999. Not the only current car to be based or derived from a 1990s concept.
Also reports of an SRT Durango in B5 Blue. How amazing would that be? I guess FCA isn’t killing off the Durango. I keep getting conflicting reports on that though.
Chris Pratt is trim level in car.
That ain’t bad. And my high-end car is 15 years old, (actually 16, 2000MY, but manufacturer date of 08/1999) cost me $800 and has just shy of 260,000 miles, lol. Makes it a little easier.
