I agree. I’m paying between $2.75-$2.85/gallon for 93 octane here in the western end of the state. Compared to a year and a half ago, it’s much improved, and it helps that I’m driving a much smaller vehicle, but still, it costs over $45 to fill up my midsizer. Though, when I was driving my Durango last year, filling

The steering wheel looks like an excited puppy with its tongue out.

Are you ok?

High mileage doesn’t scare me. I’ve bought two vehicles this year, both with over 200k on the body (though to be fair, one has less than 60k on the body), making a grand total of three vehicles I’ve owned with over 200k. And you know what? They’ve treated me better than any vehicle I’ve had with lower miles.

Absolutely! I bought it in February with 249,686 miles for $800, had it on the road in March, after a couple hundred dollars in repairs, and it’s been really good ever since. All original, minimal rust, pretty clean body, and just chock full of features for a 15 year old car. I love it.

It does well enough. Keeps the seats from cracking any worse than they already have so far. The leather isn’t perfect, but only one tear and minimal cracking over 258,000 miles, so it’s doing ok.

That’s how mine works. Just push a button on the center console, and the screen either goes up or comes down. Fully automatic. It’s very convenient. Another good thing is that with it up, since I don’t have a garage, I don’t have to worry about sun damage on the leather as much. The leather’s held up surprisingly well

That’s no good. It’s on my 2000 Infiniti I30. It gets off track sometimes, but works about 80% of time, and I only paid $800 for the car anyways. Still working at 260,000 miles. If it broke, I’d be upset but I wouldn’t replace it. That is expensive to replace, at least on a Mercedes, as you say. I have no idea what it

Nope. At night, I keep the shade on my car down, and my rear view mirror actually has an electronic dim/tint for bright headlights behind me. I can see perfectly well.

Rear sunshade. My Infiniti has this feature, and it’s really convenient when the sun is shining behind us.

Disregard. Replied to wrong post.

I’m quite partial to Poisoning Pigeons in the Park.

Ah, ok. I will keep that in mind. Hopefully I won’t find out too late whether it does or doesn’t work. Thanks!

Now, will an airbag light illuminate or show a fault, if there’s an issue with side airbags? My car has airbags in the side of both front seats. I haven’t had a problem at all, but I’m wondering, if I do, will there be an indicator for that as well?

Ain’t that a Challenger?

My Infiniti came with...

Where I live, there’s an Autozone, an Advance, a Napa, a Lowe’s, and a Harbor Freight all within walking distance of each other. Not to mention, the AutoZone is brand new, probably 500 feet away from an AutoZone that went out of business 7 or 8 years ago.
