Well he better hurry up because he sure hasn’t taken a step in that direction yet and he’s only got until January.

I think a lot of people assume there’s more to buying a gun than there is. It’s easier than buying a car. It’s easier than buying a washing machine. It’s very, very easy. It’s shocking to a lot of people.

To show how easy it is to buy a weapon of war. Thats the point not to hard to understand.

After buying the gun, she immediately drove to a police station to turn it in, where she was met with confusion about what she was trying to do. Ultimately, it took longer to hand the weapon over to the police than it did to purchase it.

I know I’ve posted about my cousin Racist Brian, but I haven’t said anything about my cousin Air Force Bill. Air Force Bill posted on FB today about how the most recent mass shooting “couldn’t have been prevented” and that the real problem was that there are not *enough* guns.

If the companies advertising department can’t get more creative than using traditionally hot bodies and general body shaMing, that’s their problem. They need to learn how to sell their product in a healthy way, which is essentially all that the UK is trying to do with the guidelines. Yes it’s harder, but um, deal with

I have nothing of value of interest to add to the collective dialogue.

The Hilton children had every opportunity at their feet, cost no issue, connections no issue, and two of them went to prison.

Not showing extremely fit people isn’t the idea behind removing this ad, though. The pictured woman isn’t “extremely fit” as far the viewer can discern at all. She’s extremely thin and has large breasts relative to her body. She isn’t visibly muscular and she isn’t a publicly known athlete.

Companies aren’t able to freely advertise anywhere, though. The ad-space seller–whether it’s a city transport service, a TV network, or a one-person blog–always makes decisions about what kind of advertisements they do and don’t want to attach to their services. There’s no obligation to give ad-space simply to the

Counterpoint...Nicole Kidman is a great actress and ridiculously beautiful. And it looks like Elizabeth Moss’s character will remain the focus. And maybe having a big name star like NK will bring more attention and viewers to the show, which would bake a 3rd season more likely.

We were stopping. Then I saw you say things about me about which you know nothing...

yesssss - was introducing them with that whole story about the chimp supposed to make us think the women were crazy? indulgent? selfish? delusional? I loved the concept of Gigi’s paradise but when it came to specifics, it felt like the writers were judging the women’s traumas through a male lens. It was a frustrating

I am old and seriously asking for help understanding this. Schumer’s quote was:

I don’t disagree with your assessment, but I am cool with that imbalance. How many shows (good shows!) have I watched where the women were basically decorations?

Bye!

It was really good except for the bizarre hippy commune shit. That was nigh on unwatchable.

Goody — maybe we can get some answers to the first season’s bizarre plot holes! Except we probably won’t.

Oh, it’s actually three for every day of the week: http://www.apa.org/topics/violenc… (“On average, more than three women are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends every day.”)
