Yeah, I might skip season nine and watch season ten instead.
Yeah, I might skip season nine and watch season ten instead.
Good point. I do feel like most of their “It Happened To Me” stuff is definitely made up by the authors. XOJane pays 50 dollars for one of those pieces, max, they're not gonna do any fact checking.
YES I just watched this episode. I finished season 8 recently and just don't know what to think about the show!
See, that right there made me think that the daughter is pulling a pretty classic teen trick on her. She can’t say, “mom I don’t do that and I don’t know anyone who does” because her mom isn’t an idiot. She can’t say, “mom, I do that and everyone I know does”, because the daughter is not an idiot and doesn’t want the…
I’ve read a few of these, and I do distinctly feel that the 19 year old is giving her step mom the answers her step mom wants to hear, as in “my friends, not my close ones but other ones, are making some poor choices but not me”.
What’s she supposed to say, exactly? She’s their mother! Even if she’s not proud of them, we’d all be calling her the devil if she gave an interview like, “yeah, I’m not really proud of them, they’re only getting anywhere because of my connections”.
I just kept being like, “why do you even like each other??? There’s no reason for it!”. It really took so much away from the Moss character, to have so much of her time pre occupied with dating the brother of the girl she's looking for. Which could have sunk her case, had she managed to build one.
Yeah, but I don’t see how pretending that Tig doesn’t present as masculine or that gendered presentation doesn't exist helps, which is what’s going on in this thread.
It’s just amazing how no one else seems to be able to connect it. “Hoya Afrika”? I mean, seriously? It COULD NOT be more obvious. The tomato’s won me over, because it’s hilarious the most painful way how fooled everyone is.
I feel like half the time we talk it’s about trolls, but Hoya is definitely one. Remember Bambi Pangang or whatever? Who turned out to probably be the Tomato troll? Hoya is the second version of that, after the first one was just too obvious. Hoya says things people want to hear, established himself as being a gay man…
Yeah, I’m not sure why everyone’s pretending that they've never heard of traditional gender presentation. Anything to say snarky stuff about a comedian?
It definitely wasn’t very polished, that’s true.
True, I guess I just didn't think the actors did well with the chemistry part, and then on top of it he was an idiot. So I felt the same way as you, but it made it worse.
YEPPPPPPP. I was happy to hear they were related because I thought it would stop them, but nooooooo.
Once they stopped searching for the missing girl to have sex in the woods, I was done. It wasn't at all believable. I’m gonna wait till the season comes out, ask someone who’s seen it if Johno is in it, and decide whether or not to watch based on that.
Unpopular opinion: the show would’ve been roughly 10000x times better if they’d cut the main character’s romance with Johno or whatever his name was. It was boring, predictable, and a general waste of time. I found myself skipping all of those scenes and enjoyed the show much more once I did.
This person has real issues- on another thread she was defending a director who threw chairs at her cause he “worked with Chris Evans”. I would avoid avoid avoid avoid her. Whatever’s coming out of her mouth is the result of her own problems, not your behavior
did one of the kardashians call you fugly in middle school or something?
did this make you feel cool
Yeppppp. And that's before you even get to how it makes literally everyone feel uncomfortable, white women for obviously reasons and POC because they think she's creepy.
