Goddammit.
Goddammit.
That’s a lot to pay for somebody else’s project, but at the same time, it isn’t excessive for a 2013 Corvette with just under $50,000 miles.
On the one hand, one ought to respect “Authorized Personnel Only” signs. But on the other hand, the “overnight airport madness” is real, and can drive people to do some really weird shit sometimes. I’ve been there, but I usually just put my luggage on one of the moving walkways, then chase it by running the wrong way…
Well now the brain worms make sense.
You’re asking what a guy who’s been a UAW member for nearly 30 years knows about the auto industry? Seriously? He didn’t step off a bus and immediately get elected UAW president.
“The motorcycle community is small enough already that if you are still trying to exclude people based on their race or gender identity, you’re a fucking asshole and we don’t need you.”
He is also a geonerd. Has a degree in geography and taught it as well. Uses and understands GIS. +1 for us geographers. Recent talk about a month ago at the ESRI Users Conference out in San Diego.
I read his Wikipedia as soon as he was picked. He’s an impressive dude. I like him. We are a military family and I would appreciate having someone in the Vice Presidency who has served this country in that way and understands what that means and the impact serving has on families and even communities. He’s been a…
Gotta say he seems like a very down-to-earth and rational person. The Scout thing is some sweet icing on the cake.
It’s an adult version of Lite Brite or Etch a Sketch with automation. Sure, it makes some funny/interesting stuff sometimes, but it’s a toy, not a tool. Only artists might be able to make use of it as a tool, and most artists I know loathe AI even more than I do.
This sounds like a Clive Cussler novel
Woah, hold on there- in my experience semi truck drivers tend to be fairly professional. Now lifted 4WD pickup trucks on the other hand, are guaranteed to be driven by some aggro a-hole.
I’ve mentioned this elsewhere, but (because it seems like the government isn’t going to prevent lazy corporations from beta testing on public roads) “self-driving” cars need to have some sort of visual indication that they are in self-driving mode.
My wife and I decided to stop riding and sell our bikes. It’s just gotten to dangerous and everyday we see people running lights and driving recklessly. We were in a fairly bad accident about a year ago in my truck and still recovering. I don’t want to think about how bad it would be if we were on our bikes. As much…
Setting aside the fact that riding, for me, always comes with being hyper vigilant, Tesla vehicles have joined semis in the category of special assholes to be mindful of because, statistically speaking, they sure as fuck aren’t being mindful back.
Depends on what you mean by “chemo.” A person in remission can be receiving chemotherapy as part of a maintenance program (as I am, knock wood, crossed fingers, etc.)
Man, that is more heartwarming than I expected it to be.
Trains are cool. Engineers are cool. Big Train can go take a 15 step walk off a 10 step pier... that overlooks a volcano.
Man it’s the simple things in life. I love it.
In Sweden, people over a certain age (around retirement age) can have any and all taxi rides covered by the government. You can get taxis via phone or an app just like an Uber or Lyft, or just regular-old waving on the street. It’s a great solution for older people who probably shouldn’t be driving, but can’t/don’t…
