I might be alone in this but based off the descriptions in the book I always imagined the wise trio as actually scary, weird, monster-esque, almost goddess-like beings. And that’s what made me think Meg was even braver - she even learned to love them, let alone be near them in all their terrifying glory.

I have looked up to Rose since she came of age in the 90's. The Doom Generation, and Jawbreaker especially cemented her forever in my mind as an utter bad-ass professional. I admire her strength now more than ever.
