There's apparently a sequel I never read. Maybe there's a dead gay teen in there.

Do it! My copy fell apart and I'm thinking about getting another.

My favorite was called Life Without Friends . It was about a girl whose mom killed herself. Then she got involved with a guy who was an abusive drug dealer who killed two of their classmates. So everyone at her school hated her. So she decided to never have friends or a boyfriend ever again. Then she meets a hot,

A grasshopper can become a locust but it can't become a tiger. Therefore, all grasshoppers are locusts. Logic!

They also apparently don't get that abortion didn't start with the Roe v Wade decision. Women have been getting them since they first discovered herbs that would induce them. Even if they managed to make them illegal, women would still get them.

Not even. A lot of people with disabilities grasp the concept that women are people. Having Down's syndrome or autism isn't comparable to being a bigoted asshole.

Least offensive GOP candidate is like best kind of cancer or most fun dental procedure. It really doesn't mean much anymore.

“If an embryo is not a person, what is it?”

There's a reason MRAs are called "the abuser's lobby."

He travels internationally on business? Something tells me he's the much wealthier of the two parents and has used the money to manipulate and abuse. I know it's a snap judgment, but it's not like it'd be the first time that happened.

Sometimes right after I post a comment, comments show up under the wrong names. If I refresh the page it always goes away. I think it's just some bizarre Kinja glitch.

I remember a Law and Order: SVU episode where that happened and I think it was based on a real case. Probably loosely based though.

It kind of sounds like the judge just personally disliked the mother and decided to punish her and the kids based on that.

Improving transportation infrastructure would give people more access to existing private sector jobs and many businesses would be helped by getting government contracts to work on these infrastructure improvements. Everybody wins. But if a policy makes sense and is helpful, it’s deemed un-American. This country

We need lots of infrastructure overhaul. If he wants to put Americans to work, he could propose a massive New Deal type infrastructure jobs program. But that would be socialism or something.

Never mind that workers become unproductive if they work long hours because people are not machines and when we get tired, hungry, and demoralized both quality and quantity of work suffer.

I like her, but I'm the only one I know who doesn't like Tim & Eric, so I feel ya.

I didn't notice that until reading your comment, but that's great. If only someone would shop Carrie Brownstein in casual wear in there, it would be perfect.

Maybe she and Ryan Phillipe should get together.
