I’m hoping Sansa delivers her “the pack is strong” speech from the trailer to Arya and then they hug it out right before gutting Little finger.

I want them to unite to defang Littlefinger once they realize what he’s doing. I can see them coming to the brink of all out battle with each other...and then realizing they’re being manipulated, banishing him, and setting him up to make one last play next season. This requires them to be extraordinarily stupid for a

I mean I hate that Arya is being written as dumb but I doubt she’s playing LF right now.

Agreed. Also, the answer to “why wouldn’t she at least use someone else’s face when stalking Littlefinger?” is simple. Arya wanted Littlefinger to see her. She wants him to think he’s in control before pulling the rug out from underneath his feet.

Also interesting that people who tend to love Sansa as a character also like Arya and acknowledge her awesomeness, but people who love Arya tend to hate Sansa.

I think that’s 100% true and why a lot of us are/were so excited to see them together...I think the problem now is just getting to realize each other’s strengths and weaknesses. (Arya specifically, because I think she’s so very set in her ways at this point.)

She needs to murder someone for a face... everyone there is “friendly”. She’s not a magical sailor school girl who just spins and transforms.

There really was no reason for Sam to pay attention to what Gilly read from the book. Let’s just hope Gilly packed that book and took it with them. Sam teaching Gilly to read may be the most crucial element in GOT.

Of course. Way back in S1 Sansa was a teenage girl who had the nerve to act like a teenage girl and they *still* hate her for it.

I’m really hoping you’re correct.

Keep trying sugar britches....

It bugged me that Sam just skipped over Gily’s reveal too, but I realized that Sam doesn’t have the information we do, so it made sense for him to ignore it.

Yeah, I feel like some earlier season (I’m looking at you season 4) were purposefully trying to move slower to allow for GRRM to get Winds out. And when they realized it wasn’t going to happen, they just said fuck it lets get it done.

“Why is Arya giving Sansa shit about ruling Winterfell? They’ve just met again after years of hardships. Perhaps Arya could stay polite a bit longer instead of basically accusing her sister of undermining Jon?”

Misdirection. They know Littlefinger is up to something, and have entered into an agreement to be at one

My point is the show is moving so relentlessly fast that things feel rushed and unearned, scenes and characters aren’t given time to breathe, and the storytelling is suffering as a result.

your right to free speech, contrary to what many many many idiots in this country have somehow NEVER learned, does not mean right to say whatever you want and then be shocked that there are consequences for it that AREN’T just “you can’t say that.”

At this point, my desired outcome is:

Agreed. I’m hoping Gendry survives and Jon (Jaeherys Targaryen?) legitimizes Gendry and makes him lord of Storm’s End.

“Why were you fired from your last job?”

Gendry’s dad and John’s “dad” were BFFs. But Gendry’s dad also killed the man who was actually John’s biological father.
