I grew up in a wooded area — my parents still live there. And something that happened this past December put a creepy spin on a thing that happened when I was a kid.

My husband is also perfectly happy living in filth. To his credit, he knows I am NOT and sets reminders on his phone to “check the sink,” “take out the trash,” “wipe counters” and various other things. He would literally not notice the messes otherwise.

As someone who has helped dozens of friends move, this is also my #1 beef. They tell me they need help moving boxes into the moving truck, can I stop by for a couple hours and help? I show up to find their apartment 100% unpacked and them fretting about how they’re going to have to rent and pay for the truck a second…

We’re boiling and filtering ours before using it for cooking but, yes, still not ideal! I hope Tom Boyd gives us points for our creativity!

Based on how Heidi is wearing her mask UNDER her nose, I don’t think COVID and its spread are of much concern to this family.
