Tumblr seems to be a uniquely bad place for having nuanced conversation or commentary. I blame the format for making interaction difficult more than the people or demographics that tend to use it, but I couldn’t even handle it for fandom.
Abortion is a women’s issue. You hit it on the nose - intersectionality means that we support feminist causes even if they don’t impact us personally. If an issue impacts 99% of women and very few men, it’s a women’s issue. It doesn’t make sense for us to erase that.

It’s very interesting to me. Across the street from us is a transgender boy that my daughter is good friends with; I know of another at their school; and my 12 year old told me a friend of hers broke up with her girlfriend. I said, “I didn’t know T was gay.”
But it is mostly a women’s issue. Most women are female. Also, I am not going to refer to myself as a uterus haver is dehumanizing or a pregnant person because I am a women.

I think there is less support for reproductive rights and furthermore I think its dangerous that there are people trying to control how women talk about their own bodies.
