The TV-critic infatuation with Girls is actually likely proof that TV (or at least its criticism) as a medium hasn't 'matured' to the level those critics say it has. Say what you will about film critics - most of them would never let a lot of that show's flaws slide like the recappers seem willing to do.

PROBABLY CONTROVERSIAL OPINION: I always feel like I should like Kate Bush more than I do. I mean, I like her, but given my tastes for weird art rock and hysterical women at pianos, I feel like I should worship her. I dunno - I should go back and listen to her again.

As far as 80s legends who desperately need to remaster their back catalog go, Bush is second only to Prince.
