This is an issue for about 40% of the art I consume, from jazz and avant-rock to arty/experimental film. It's hard to earnestly explain something when the automatic assumption the other person has is 'you couldn't possibly actually enjoy this, and your attempt to convince me otherwise shows me just how pretentious you

Currently on the third episode. Good - really really good. Like, shocked delighted good. It's essentially supersonic Joel - season 2-4 style with the pace cranked way up. That may not be for everyone, but it's working for me. It reminds me of the Firesign Theater - very avant-screwball.
