Oh, the Guardian does that ALL THE TIME. If you're from Brooklyn or seem like it, you're instantly an idol - regardless of whether or not you're actually, you know, famous.

Godspell is just fucking weird. I mean, yeah, if you read a little bit about it, it…kind of makes sense (the director based a lot of it on theologian Harvey Cox's book Feast Of Fools, and more specifically a chapter in it called "Christ the Harlequin"), but if you don't, it's utterly baffling. (Why are they clowns?

I feel bad about this, because - since I haven't been able to read anything of his for more than a few sentences - I might be judging him inaccurately, but just by gut instinct? I HATE Simon Rich. Hate him, hate him, hate him. He seems like Lena Dunham times five, with added male priviliege and a smirk from hell: http:

Over at The Other Site's review, our very own Cookie Monster revealed that he was attacked by Harmony Korine at the latter's book signing: http://thedissolve.com/revi…

Why, Internet?

I know! BULLSHIT!

See, I really like the weird shit that Joe Byrd added, but I understand that I am in the minority about that.

Case in point: I vastly prefer the abridged version of Tommy on the deluxe edition to the record.

COME ON! No jazz? No prog? BOB MARLEY's the only black guy?

I'll just start the thread here: biggest disparity between live and studio bands?
