Posted something similar upthread - if the driver was turning in that direction, the light from the camera may have just looked like a small light tower set out by authorities to illuminate the scene (you’ll notice the driver didn’t run into the camera - he/she knocked the reporter into it). It’s dark and raining and

At stops I lose cars behind the rear view mirror in my Yukon. Have to be sure to dip my head and check.

My Pajero has what has to be a 150 Lb rear door that swings out on a drivers side pivot. It feels like opening some door in a fantasy novel, its a two hand thing for sure

I just bought a 1993 SUV, and man is it great to see out of. Sure i dont have ABS or Airbags.. but i can see all around me. I think its a fair trade off

One more reason NOT to buy an SUV.

Right in the 9-second section (pause and scroll) you can see the rear triangle of the Avalanche followed by the black bed rails

That’s a 2003-2006 Silverado or Avalanche with the “cateye” headlight

My wifes escalade is downright scary at night with the A-piller. I have to triple check sometimes.

I can’t wait.

Most of the folks who drive on ice are ice fishermen who know enough to only drive on lakes. It is common enough in the north that most folks who do it have a clue:

Lakes != rivers.

Burying the Lede here... Green wraps make the world a better place 💚💚

Wheels (and the tires that are attached to them).

Tires. All day, every day.

A few years ago NJ increased its gas tax to normal levels and the gas there isn’t cheaper any more.

I do not have a single fuck to give about that. I’d rather pay more to pump the gas myself and not have somebody touch my car, or now my truck.

Gas used to be notably cheaper in NJ. Last I knew it wasn’t really worth the detour anymore.
