Right, he only puts people in danger because he can’t be bothered to pay attention to his driving. Much better than a person with a loud horn. I’m guessing you’re one of those people that view red lights as suggestions.

I’ve got twin air horns in my MR2 - they are effective at alerting oblivious drivers to my presence when they decide they want to occupy the bit of road where my car is situated.

Both can be assholes. Like most things in life, if you stop after 2 options, you aren’t digging deep enough.

Im literally 25 years old and an engineer. I adore technology.

Which one falls on its face, the sport or the real one?

And that’s fine.

Now playing

All, the fucking, time. It’s annoying as hell. People in front of them, nobody around them, straight roads, curves, interstate, regular highways, residential roads, doesn’t matter. They hit the brakes ever so gently but don’t actually slow down more than about 1mph.

I’ve never had an airbag go off with TC disabled, so I can’t definitively say my cars don’t do that. ;-)

In the case being discussed here the blinker was moot - the truck should have stopped or at least slowed to match the speed of the car ahead while maintaining a safe distance regardless of whether the blinker was on or not.

It’s not a distraction. The action of hitting the brakes and maintaining a stable line are already completed and are actively being done. Reaching over to tap the hazard button doesn’t take much brain power.

That’s the eternal question, isn’t it? It’s gone on for an incredibly long time. From Wagner’s antisemitism (I recommend watching the documentary Wagner and Me starring Stephen Fry), to Michael Jackson, to J.K. Rowling, and now Kelly, people who’ve done really crappy things but made really important art, can the two

Radical. A truck that actually looks like a truck.

It is decidedly not.

I want that to be played outside the car immediately after the crash, for the entertainment of any onlookers.

Or alternatively,

Bt if we just taught kids to be less shitty adults, wed lose the opportunity to write sensationalized articles and mindlessly ban things because theyre slightly inconvenient!

I think COVID has sped up the de-evolution of humans.  Stuff like this is all too common, the karen videos are a daily thing.  Add to this a former administration that championed disgusting behavior, and we have a society that is locked into it’s eventual collapse.  Sadly, I think it’ll be in my lifetime when it

It’s really expensive and basically single-use for my kid because she never puts it away and it dries up into hard pebbles that I find *everywhere* whenever I clean. One of those things I have to put high up in the closet and only give her to play with under supervision or it's ending up in the trash.

I feel bad for these children. Having kids is messy and noisy. Your impeccably decorated minimalist home is going to get messed up. Deal with it, instead of denying your kids a childhood. Kids with musical aptitude need to blow horns and bang drums. Kids with artistic aptitude need to mold play-doh and create art with

I’m a firearms enthusiast (aka gun nut) and I refused to allow any toy guns in my house when my kids were little because I wanted to teach them at the right time that guns are tools - dangerous tools - that require utmost care and responsibility.
