Still believing the stuff you saw on that "Beyond 2000" from back in the day? I think you vault overestimate the abilities of ADAS, the willingness for OEMs to work together, and the desire for people to be a package in a vehicle rather than drive it.

To be fair, even trained officers have a bad tendency to screw stuff up so the training must not be that good.

Nah, packs of Karens getting high huffing each other’s smug farts.

lol, my vehicle will never be smart enough for that.

I think I just heard every Karen in LA have an orgasm...

Lol, I don’t need any of that crap. All I want is Spotify and Google Maps. Honestly, I could be happy with bluetooth and a phone dock. Like, literally rip the stupid effing infotainment system completely out of the car and just give me a spot to dock my phone in portrait mode, the correct orientation for maps, and

The thing is, I don’t want my vehicle to be untethered. I don’t want it to have it’s own uplink that I can’t turn off. I want the data to pass through my phone because I can actually keep it updated and upgrade it every couple years. I will not purchase a vehicle like this. Almost didn’t buy my Tacoma until I found

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

It’s not free for 8 years. You're prepaying for 8 years of service when you buy the vehicle.

It’s not just their EVs that are dropping CP/AA. And their vehicles haven’t been intended for the poor’s in years.

None of you don't buy their bullshit.

“ Y’all need to get over that. “

At least those are still correctly in production.

I believe they are catering to what the customers demanded.”

Neither is ending production of every single non-truck and SUV other than the Mustang, Jim. Your company isn't in a good place to be talking shit.

one more point for the Maverick: It actually fits in an average garage space comfortably. Even my “midsize” Taco never would’ve fit in my garage without having to limbo under the mirror like Hermes Conrad.

Or I buy a Tacoma because it has a stick shift. Seriously, that was my primary motivation.

Lol, the Maverick is midsize. It's just that all of the other midsize trucks have become full-size trucks and all the full-size trucks have become enormous.

I mean the space between the wells is already too narrow, so I guess making them even more narrow won't change much. If I do get another taco I'll probably get a Decked drawer box, so I guess that will fix it.

Sorry, when you said control arm I was thinking Independent Rear Suspension, with A-arms, rather than a 4-link. I'm not sure how I feel about that. The ride would probably be better, especially cornering with bumps, but I suspect they'd need to increase the size of the wheel wells to accommodate the spring towers, and
