If anything, only Class A RV’s would have to worry about this.

Oh good, you’re charging off-peak when much of the renewable energy production is offline and NG Peaker Plants have to come online to charge your wheels.

Don’t forget the additional cost for tires. The cars are heavier and prefer to run special tires than can handle the additional load while also having low rolling resistance, which costs more. If you throw regular tires on them they will wear out faster and have worse handling due to weaker sidewalls.

I was thinking Joe Dirt, but that works too.

The republican’s celebration after sticking it to the Dems:

lol at the idea of calling a Tesla a “Luxury” car.

Yeah, Subaru and Mazda both have... changed... over the last 6 or 7 years. Bare-bones, that’s what I want. Buttons, knobs, levers, no screens.

I totally agree that the driver is the problem, but handing people multiple systems that help them be shitty drivers isn’t the correct answer. Yeah, you have to agree to pay attention, but every single one of use agreed to stop at stop signs, signal properly and check blind spots before merging/changing lanes and how

Mountain bike, sure I enjoy mountain biking, but I’m probably not going to commute on it.

No, of course not. Animal shelters are already overloaded.

Subaru? The company that made Eyesight standard equipment on everything but the manual BRZ? Nope. Even my favorite company, Mazda, screwed the pooch when it made iActivsense standard even on the Miata Club edition. I was really hoping that Lotus’ foray into EV’s was going to bring forth for spiritual successor to the

It might help if we were legally allowed to shoot anyone found under our vehicles when they are not supposed to be without warning. Not aiming to make it fatal, lower leg or foot would be the goal. A few thieves would probably die, and that’s fine by me, but I feel like once the word got around that owners were

That’s part of the reason I still drive manual transmission cars, it alleviates anxiety while giving me something fun to do that also forces me to pay attention. Until full L5 exists, I am not interested in any driver aids beyond ABS, power steering, and cruise control classic.

Not only do I not want to use “features” like FSD, AP, or even ACC, I do not even want the hardware to support those on any vehicle that I purchase. At the very least I want the ability to rip them out without having to deal with idiot lights or notifications constantly.

One more concept stuffed with enough “Nope’s” to make a clown car envious. I swear, at this rate I’m going to have to build my own car to have one that doesn’t piss me off in 30 years.

Honestly, I think all three (BMW, Porsche, and Chevy) are all guilty of the biggest thing holding me back from buying any of their vehicles: too much focus on gadgets, gizmos, features and other tech, and not enough focus on building a good, stripped down, driver’s car. Pretty much every manufacturer is heading in

I just wish “California Queen” was a size of mattress. We often live in places were a King or even a California King won’t fit well, but I’m slightly too tall for a Queen.

Dear Bayerische Motoren Werke,

Even higher waistline, even more DRL’s for the driver to confuse for headlights, even larger infotainment screen, even more interior lights to interfere with nighttime visibility. The Future looks... stupid.

simply changing the regulations that allow for exemptions for SUV to require 4x4
