I usually don't mind graphic violence like that, but they filmed it so…real, I guess would be the word, that it really got to me. The screaming mostly.

That may have been the first TV death that disturbed me. It was something about the way he was screaming that just got me. Yeesh, that was brutal.

It's gotta be budget right? If they did it, and it was visually subpar, they would constantly be bashed on for being inferior to the walking dead, etc. But TWD is proving that zombies are a hot commodity (even if WWZ didn't do nearly as well as anticipated), so you're right, you would think someone else would try it.
