Using a knife to cut meat, not properly sanitizing it prior to cutting carrots? I am a chef and I, for one, am horrified.

The overwhelming contempt for vegans in general is well-represented in this comment section. It eclipses this “militant vegan with a superiority complex” narrative that I’ve been hearing most of my life.
I’ve seen Whiskeyprayer in the Jezebel article comments plenty of times giving normal insights and opinions, so I’m reluctant to dismiss them as a troll.
Definitely. It’s a pretty clear story if you have a grasp of the lyrical terminology.
While it’s not Yeats or Angelou lyrically(nor is it supposed to be, because it’s dance music), it’s not entirely vapid. It’s a song about a woman who grew up in the projects, a former sex worker who worked hard enough to be self-sufficient. She celebrates finally being able to afford the luxuries that she dreamed…
It’s odd that Cardi B’s lyrics are being put under a microscope and when there are plenty of bands/artists with lyrics containing metaphors or nonsense like T.Rex, The Talking Heads, and even Neko Case.
It always has been.
“STOP EMBRACING YOUR WORST LADY MCS”
In the WaPo author’s defense, their previous job was writing the dialogue for World Wrestling Entertainment.
I will take a wild guess.
It speaks volumes about Patti as a performer that she is able to be so completely frustrated and bewildered while managing to hit perfect notes.
Truly. Diana would have looked stunning in a burlap sack. The dress itself looks like a cross between Naomi from “Mama’s Family” and a Crystal Barbie.
I don’t really like the idea of posting his mugshot and other photos of his more recent downward spiral. I felt the same way about Amy Winehouse too. The shocking photos reek of exploitation and do nothing to help.
“A deeply dull type”
On top of all the self promotion stuff she gets money for, she is also getting royalty checks from her movie career at the end of each year.
I don’t watch these sort of shows, but it would seem as though this woman has hit some sort of life bottom whether it be from bad decisions or substance abuse(again, I’m not familiar with her).
This one was my personal favorite:
I’m hoping that those sweatpants with tapered legs is #2 on that list. They’re still sweatpants, I don’t care if they slightly resemble proper pants!
Besides that, anyone who remembers wearing them is too old to wear them now(myself included)unless their role model is Any Poehler’s character from “Mean Girls”.
I just watched this one last night with my dad. It had its funny moments and McMurray/Stanwyck are great. If you can get past the pretty white lady privilege and the squeamishly racist butler stuff, then it’s worth a watch.
