This recent kick that I’ve seen environmentalists be on where somehow they lay the blame of us using a bunch of oil not on us, but on the people giving us oil is some mental gymnastics that I just can’t understand. Saying Shell is the second biggest polluter because we use the second most of their products is beyond

Yeah, not knowing what the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation is, is not something to brag about. It’s one of the best charities in the world. They’ve done more the near eradication of malaria than any government or charity in the world.

This reads like someone comparing a motorcycle to a bicycle, comparing them on the things a bicycle are good at, and then declaring motorcycles are dumb. The T-Mobile solution is a more expensive, but much more capable solution. No one should use one to find their lost keys, just like no one should use a motorcycle to

Not having tiered service isn’t the same as not offering a financing plan for their equipment.

Oh I know it’s very popular. It’s also way less divisive than TLJ. But “popular” doesn’t prove “good.” Fan service is really good at making current fans happy (see all of Endgame which sacrificed everything in the name of fan service. It’s the biggest movie ever made), but it’s bad at expanding a universe. Mandalorian

Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni would have made movies very similar to The Force Awakens. Probably more creative- but at the same time they both seem to suffer from the same problem JJ does, slavery to call backs and fan service.

How much we should care about the beliefs of the founding fathers is an interesting debate. But this is a political rant disguised as a “lifehack” by tryign to tack on a “step by step to better debate” technique on the end.

Are “NFD Locks” and ‘NFT reader” both supposed to be “NFC Locks” and “NFC reader”?

“Sound travels faster and farther underwater because it’s denser than air”

Also a complaint that an experiment took more power than it generated seems super short-sighted. I’m sure the first couple windmills took more power to build than they made as well. It’s an experiment.

Also, blaming oil production on the oil companies (like this article does) instead of blaming it on the people who use the oil is buck passing of the highest order. Oil companies don’t extract oil and get people to burn it for fun, they do it because we want it.

But unless you bury the trees after they die, the don’t have a net carbon reduction.

We’re fourth in the world in vaccines per capita. Number 1 in number of vaccines administrated. Really, the grass isn’t so much greener almost anywhere else.

This really illustrates one of my Endgame complaints- the the time Hulk snapped, they didn’t know they were in a rush (since Thanos hasn’t shown back up yet.) Shouldn’t they have called different heads of state and prepped them for what was about to happen?

On the other hand, you should judge cases based on their merit, not based on whether you like the people in the court case or not.

The only people whiplashing like this was pop-sci, because they don’t understand basic biology. Yes, a study was performed that antibodies are reduced just three months after infection. This was an important study to perform, but even the authors of that paper said “this does not mean that immunity is gone after three

If this is true, every research hospital on the country would be interested in paying you to study. I’d reach out to them. However, I’m guessing it’s not true.

But I don’t think the Apple watch is a direct competitor. This is much more a watch, that has smart features, compared to a mini phone in the shape of a watch. Not saying one is better than the other, but people would be buying them for very different things.

Yeah, Trump sucks, but the knee jerk reaction to anything someone in his administration does as being “stupid” and “inept” is pathetic. The reason he suggested half dosages is because there is some evidence that the half dose is still good.
