You know, good for him.

Boy, that helmet looks incredibly unwieldy. Like if he tilts his head even slightly he’ll tip over.

Actually, it juts looks like a G. It’s his family crest, and in his language it means, “I’m so hungry I could eat a planet.”

If I could give exponential multiples of this star, I would.

Someone doesn’t understand corporate agency or entities.

Yes, Apple still exists as an entity. Its past deeds still belong to it.

The ol’ Vader two-step.

It’s just regular old PEMDAS: Paramount+, Exponents, Max, Disney+, Apple TV+, and Subtraction

I’m sure this will probably end up still being a better deal than cable... up until the companies get a little greedy and decide to make it the same deal or worse.

Yes definitely. The only Bravo exceptions I can think of are shows like Below Deck, which do star pretty much working class people, and Vanderpump Rules, which starred people who were basically regular degular when the show started, and still don’t have any kind of Real Housewives-tier wealth.

That may be true for that particular show, but the union would cover all reality shows, and on most of them that’s not the case.  Plus, whether you’re rich or not you still deserve fair pay for your labor.

That’s fair. I suppose I wasn’t even thinking of other shows beyond Housewives.

While Cohen’s focus is more on the Housewives shows, there are numerous other Bravo shows where people have very little agency, especially those people trying to get a leg up in the arts by appearing on the shows. I think a union may not be the right vehicle to prevent bad treatment of the contestants on those shows,

Being annoyingly rich already isn’t really an excuse to get exploited. Sure, it’s easier for them to walk away, but that doesn’t make being treated badly ok.

A lot of very well off folks in the Entertainment biz like to LARP as members of the blue collar underclass. This is maybe the height of it

I would describe Nope the same way, and feel that might be more overrated than Midsommar.

Midsommar would have to be the most overrated horror movie of the past few decades. Great start that pisses everything away.

100% agree. i don’t see how recasting would be ‘gross’ either. there’s a way to do either thing respectfully or not.

What's the deal with wrinkles?

Pretty sure Seinfeld wasn’t trying to be “edgy” with his podcast joke.

Weird how a guy who co-created one of, if not the most successful sitcom of all time gets so much access.
