I did not follow the press leading up to it but as someone who was recently forced to watch Anyone But You, I did not get the feeling of wild chemistry this article purports. idk, maybe something’s wrong with me, but I just wasn’t buying them as a couple.

Yeah, he's been doing sketch comedy since he was a kid. Clearly he just likes it...

Eh, SNL’s always been pretty big on the strategy of “establish a character and milk it for all its worth”. I think it's easy to pin it on Carvey/Myers (especially since Carvey was the go-to impression guy), but the 90s were the peak of “let’s make an awful movie out of this one-note gag” and plenty of cast members

Christmas Joke Swaps are easily the best thing to happen to Update in years, or at least since Hader (and John Mulaney) brought us Stefon. My favorite one was the one a couple years back when Che made Jost go back to a joke about a black Superman 3 different times.

Yeah, Wiig sketches always seem to go on just a little too long and stretch jokes past their breaking point.  I feel like if you chopped 30 seconds - 1 minute off a lot of her bits they’d be much better.

There are several. Hell, I’d take Mikey Day and his role 90% of the time is just playing straight man to wacky antics going on near him.

I came prepared to come here and shit on Kate McKinnon because I do not care for her character work; I realize this is perhaps a bit of a hot take as a lot of people seem to love it (especially Lorne Michaels seeing how much she appeared/starred in sketches as her tenure continued), but Jesus Christ why in the hell is

No, the AI has to have a nice human name for you to sympathize with it. Like oh say, ALEXA bum bum bummmmm

Eh, I really liked A Knight’s Tale and felt it was terribly underrated at its release, but doing a Ledger-less sequel seems like a pretty smart bet imo*. Still, it’s a shame that apparently an algorithm was used to ultimately (or at least was a deciding factor to) make that call. They really should’ve done one back

Is the hint “please introduce me to her”? That’s the vibe I’ve personally been sending out, to no avail presently...

I think by “the story” they just mean the Blair Witch itself.

oh. uhhh.... yeah that’s still kinda a mystery ain’t it?

Yeah these days between how easy it is to find things on the internet and how much the studio PR teams seems to spoil a lot of stuff in trailers and press tours, there’s no way to ever emulate that kind of hype again, I think.

I think the second one has a lot more excellent parts but they just don’t stitch together into a cohesive movie enough to be definitively better than the first.

As far as I can tell the tl;dr version is to get Deadpool into the “proper” MCU so he can cameo for team-ups (and/or get MCU versions of characters to appear in his movies), the long version is it’s basically gonna be a grand humorous send-off to all the old Fox/non-Disney versions of various characters who have

Looking for Group: the first Deadpool & Wolverine trailer is here?

If I’m at the point I’m drinking 13 beers in a movie theater, I wouldn’t care about much, because to be in that situation I’m assuming I would be at rock bottom.

your middle section is kinda a chunk

Watch me!

No, it’s not defending Cinemark, it’s mocking how someone is starting a class action lawsuit over 2 OUNCES of beer. The dude’s legally in the right (supposing his measurements are right) but like... c’mon, you’ve got to see the humor in this right?
