There’s something so incongruous about a swastika (the one on the B train) being drawn with a Magic Marker.

This looks good but im pretty tired of all of these movies about the brave Christians who helped hide the Jews. I’d like a few more movies about the Jewish resistance and the Jews who hid out in forests and escaped to freedom, thanks.

It’s also gotta be up there in “worst thing to witness and have seared into your brain” competition.

When Chrome added the feature that indicates which tab is making noise, it was like they had peered into my soul.

His buildings are ugly and the lobbies are usually gilded and hideous but their height and locations do make for spectacular views for the people inside

That’s for 3 of the buildings. He owns and manages the others, none of which are removing his name.

I mean yes, obviously they are different situations with only the most base of similarities. I still think it’s not entirely cut and dry if he wants to use a surrogate and agrees to sever all ties with her.

If the law is iffy, that’s a completely different story. As for the existing child angle, depends on when you consider life to begin so I could see him arguing that. Her involvement is no longer needed.

I grew up in Harlem in the 80s and 90s and never heard about it. I suppose it’s possible that it passed me by but it would surprise me if something that was common knowledge in NYC was so completely off my radar.

This is fucked but is he asking her to help raise the kid or give child support or he just consent wants to bring the embryos to term? Because if the former, may he forever have the sound of nails on blackboard ringing in his ears. If the latter, seems (hazily) analogous to when a woman chooses to carry a baby to

Feel bad for was probably too far given that they’re all rich, I’m sure they’ll be fine. But it still sucks for them because you buy an apartment in NYC expecting its value will increase, not decrease.

As a life long New Yorker, I never said they weren’t tacky. I said they were fancy and not morally repugnant.

Bet his kids buy them on the cheap and rent them out to visiting dictators.

Eh. They’re fancy buildings with great views. I know people who live in those buildings and they didn’t buy because of his name they bought because of the amenities they wanted.

I feel bad for the poor suckers in the 3 buildings he actually owns — nothing they can do to get those names off.

It will also never get investigated now because Trump and the Republican congress sure as shit won’t push for it.

This is neither here nor there but it’s funny seeing a man at a professional interview in his full admiral’s uniform casually leaning and slouching in his chair like a 14 year old at the dinner table.

I think Clinton fucked up a lot and was a crappy candidate who possibly shouldn’t have been in the race in the first place. This election was hers to lose and while I think things like a voter suppression did throw the election to trump, the fact that she just decided not to vote visit certain states is entirely on

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!

Had the Rust Belt against Clinton
