Mt. St. Joe has over 1000 male students in grades 9-12.

The tone of this article is off. First off, you need to understand Baltimore. If someone asks you where you went to school, they mean high school, not college. People take their high school pride surprisingly seriously.

Don’t forget the hatchback 4 door version. First car I ever drove. It had an 8 track player down low on the dash that blocked the transmission from going into Park if there was an 8 track in it.

Looks like a 92-93 Pontiac Bonneville to me. The Buicks are close but that sloping back part makes me pretty sure that’s it.

Yup. Soul is where it’s at. You can get a full EV one for $32,000.

It doesn’t make sense to be worried about standing out in the high school parking lot for another month until graduation.

That’s pretty much what my son looks like running at full speed.

I can think of nothing better than spending $15000 on a new hobby that will significantly make your commute worse.

Must be embarrassing to fail in front of tens of people like that.

Former Trooper owner here telling you all to stay away. The amount of gremlins mine had made going from this to a VW a pleasant experience. Lifters went bad, car would occasionally spew a trail of oil smoke while driving, lots of small electrical issues, all while the car was a lot newer than this one (6 years old)

Really good article. I’d add a non-contact voltage tester to the mix too, which is especially useful with older houses with questionable labeling on the circuit breaker.

My favorite part of owning 2 VW’s is when the CEL is on so much that I can still see it at night when I close my eyes.

Now playing

This Maximum Overdrive reboot doesn’t have as dark of a beginning as the original.

It’s nice that they have the roll bar in place so you can really enjoy being decapitated by the battery.

I was at CP even before I got to the scam or no scam part. 27 year old VW with a replacement engine? Every drive will have to be mapped around which mechanic shop you’ll have to stop in halfway to your destination to keep the car running. And that check engine light is going to be on so often it’ll permanently burn

NP just for that shifter knob.

This is like a riddle to see where this turns from NP to CP: (hint- it’s long before it gets to the price)

I discovered today on my Murano that you could adjust the pedals to be closer or further from you with a button on the side of the drivers seat. I’ve owned the car for 9 years.

Perfect. The legendary reliability of a 20 year old VW combined with the thriftiness of owning a boat.
