To me, Hot Fuzz is a purer comedy, while World’s End packs a much stronger emotional punch. So I lean a bit more towards World’s End, but they’re both great, just in different ways. Shaun, while not bad by any means, is the weakest one imho. Possibly because 1) I’m super tired of zombies and 2) there are a lot more…
Welcome to io9! Glad to have snatched you from Kotaku, much as I liked your work there.
Did you see Batman V Superman? It makes Ultron look like Citizen Kane. That said, studios don’t really care about reviews and fan reaction, they care about the greenbacks, and Marvel is outplaying them constantly. Civil War, I am excited for that movie. The Russo Brothers made a brilliant film in Winter Soldier, so I…
This is what happens when political correctness catches up with old movies. People who actually herd nerfs were now offended. No one can even make a “you might be a nerf herder” joke these days. No, we have to excuse the comment by showing him actually herding nerfs - not that there’s anything wrong with that - so…

Carefully.
It pretty much stops at those two. The Ninja Turtles reboot was really good if you missed out on that though.
Gravity falls
Stephen Universe has overtaken Adventure Time as my favorite current Cartoon Network show. Between these shows, and other really good cartoons like Archer, Venture Bros, Bob’s Burgers, Regular Show, Gravity Falls, and the new TMNT, I feel like we’re in a really good place with cartoons.
Wreck-it Ralph is based on a made up video game that adds video game elements to it . . . are we really getting that technical here? Scott Pilgrim is the best video game movie I have ever seen. Unless in real life people normally explode into coins and get 1-ups and take warp zones.
If someone held a gun to DC's head and demanded they take down the cover, that would be true. But they didn't and it isn't.
