Well yes, maybe they lied and never removed any of them. Or maybe they removed most of them and kept some hidden. Or it is also possible that they did get rid of all of them, but then just got more once trump was elected. Or maybe they stored them all in Russia and once trump was elected Putin sent them back. There

In a vacuum where Assad gasses his people I might be ok with some sort of retaliatory action if it was engaged in by a sober, smart leader who was known to take every potential scenario and figure out which was the least bad one.

I think there is a qualified difference between the attack yesterday, and the missile/drone/special forces strikes that have been going on for lord knows how long. Those previous strikes were targeted at non-state actors, groups that were in a sovereign nation but were not “actual” members of that nation’s military

Honestly, I don’t understand the uproar. 7 people were killed by US missiles yesterday. We even gave their allies warning before launching them.

There’s not going to be a war. What happened was this: Assad stupidly went full Saddam and committed an atrocity that the West couldn’t just ignore, Trump saw an opportunity to gain back political points(the Repubs are struggling in a KANSAS election, ffs), Putin will make noise but is happy to see his puppet get back

What everyone needs to watch is Priebus and Pence. They have the most goals in common with each other and they are old-school GOP. Both have been very, very quite.

So a racist Nazi-loving asshole can’t get along with a Jewish douche with no experience in government? Gasp! I am shocked! SHOCKED!!!!!

...and across the pond, Germany is developing legislation to combat fake news* - it`s like an opposites game!

I’m not active duty anymore so my ass is about as safe as it can get, but I appreciate the sentiment!

I’m mostly angry for guys like the ones in this photo. A full bird colonel is having to take this rich kid playing army dress-up seriously. His men have to follow. We have thrown our people to the wolves, and they’re

I just want to ask people like this lady and your mother, what kind of change were you looking for? When I’m looking for a “change” I’ll part my hair a different way or wear some fun shoes. I won’t vote for people who promise to completely destroy our country.

Which makes me think that he wore it just so so that it would cover it up.

“What advantages does this war have over, say, an ethnic cleansing, which I could also afford?”

It’s funny, my husband’s whole family are right wing conservatives. They don’t like immigrants (except his uncle’s wife but “she came in the right way” by applying for political asylum in a country that it really shouldn’t apply to) or people who use benefits (except his cousin who is on food stamps, they feel like

She wanted to make sure she got back a couple of hundred bucks in taxes.

I’m fascinated by the “I did it for the economy” argument. Like incredibly low unemployment rates and rapid job growth wasn’t enough for you? The hell else did these people expect?

I feel bad for him. But her? Screw that. She should have listened to him more carefully, or, you know, not drunk the Kool-Aid and done some research. The only good thing to come of this is that maybe, just maybe, people like this will turn on him in 2020.

Translation:

Honestly, I’m relieved that even Trump is upset by — or at least, feels the need to seem upset by — photos of dead children killed by nerve gas.

When you put her next to her father or her brother, she comes across as a genius because she can form complete sentences and use appropriate inflections on words. The Trumps are masters of low expectations, and the past year or so has lowered the standard to subterranean levels.

Don’t overthink this.
