What a mentch. What are they going to do for them next, let them become citizens? Keep their own homes? Have access to food and water?

I think the labeling of a lot of these plant-based products is pretty deceptive. I’m okay with Eggless bc that’s pretty clear, but if a product uses egg in its title it should be required to have “Egg Substitute” or “Not Actual Egg” in equally large font.

That’s really dumb. Does that mean any fruit or vegetable that involves pollination isn’t vegan?

High voltage electricity and wet car owners. What could go wrong?

I am surprised that what I thought was an uncontroversial, even self-evident, article is actually getting pushback.

Given the title of this article, I was expecting at least some basic primer on employment law and why, in fact, Chick-Fil-A is not allowed to “pay” “volunteers” in chicken sandwiches. So here it is;

Faraway Future, indeed.

You know how much it costs to fire someone? $0. They don’t need to offer this guy anything. Just get rid of him. For cause. They’ll still fail, but at least they’ll save their investors some money in the process.

No, this is Internet! We must pick a side immediately, based on assumptions and the fact that he may have been wealthy and coming from a “party island” or because he was a “former public schoolboy” on his first helicopter ride! Common sense and sympathy are not allowed! Pick a side!

I was right there with you up until your conclusion. Everything you said before that suggests that it was the company’s fault. Not everyone knows the dangers of helicopters without being told. This guy should have been given instructions, escorted away and not allowed near the aircraft. And from your account, the

A crossover with a trunk is to crossovers is like what a platypus is to mammals.

Yeah, I’m rooting for Rivian too. And I think it’s really their commercial vehicles that are going to be their bread and butter. I think their consumer vehicles are pretty cool, but the high price and greater competition is a challenge. That said, generally in a recession the rich aren’t the ones hurting so maybe

Removable but not designed to be removed. And if they do this for one boat, they’ll do it again for other boats because shipbuilders will just expect it. The shipbuilders need to plan around this bridge.

Bad take. Grilling baskets are great. You get better heat that with tin foil, and you can actually poke around in it without it tearing. I use mine for green beans, brussels sprouts, zucchini...

I guess I was expecting something a little different. I thought you’d prepare the basket and then hand it to someone else and they’d cook whatever the thought those ingredients were supposed to make, and they’d do it at the party. That would obviously be a lot more time consuming and messy, so probably not a great

“Loud pipes save lives” but loud music is the devil’s dance tune!

Go home, Tucker, you’re drunk.

Look one line lower; 22. 02 Aggravated Assault, 2nd degree felony, 2-20 years.

Wait, so someone tries to run a bicyclist down and you blame... the urban planners?

I always wondered if there was some law or rule about the 2+2 that made it get around some tax or something. Insurance could be the answer I guess, but insurance companies are pretty sophisticated in knowing what’s a sports car and what’s not.
