So the bad taste is in cars? I mean, it’s not the way I would spend $250k on cars but I don’t fault him for his choices. Kinda make sense actually; buy a Porsche and everyone is going to assume you’re embezzling, but show up to work in a Jeep and nobody’s going to even notice. Performance Jeeps are sleepers.

I stand corrected. I should have said worst Wrangler.

Portable, probably can’t be done. But a home installation can do it, and the car can act as a battery for other uses. If you want to go overlanding for a week, this is the right vehicle, but if you’re talking real apocalypse/prepper stuff, you’d be much better with a remote cabin, a bunch of solar panels, and an

I am an NYC apartment dweller lucky enough to have a smoker. Even so, I still use my IP to cook pork shoulder because while smoking gives great flavor, it takes a very long time. I have only experimented with liquid smoke a little bit, so I can’t really say I’ve found a way to get that same flavor from that, but I’m

Well it puts the cost on drivers, not on general public and (theoretically) doesn’t put more burden on law enforcement who already have too much to do.

I tried to implement comment strike as a protest against listicles, the overwhelming ads, and all the other problems with Kinja but it didn’t take off. And unfortunately, I just keep coming back.

Any vehicle that needs gasoline is a terrible “zombie apocalypse” vehicle. Electric vehicles are going to be a lot more useful.

I’m a fan of post apocalyptic fiction, but I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it’s a combination of over saturation of zombie shows and actual pandemic fatigue.

A Gladiator is not needed for anything. It is inarguably the worst pickup and the worst Jeep. But the best combination of the two.

Fiat + Chrysler = what did you expect?

I’m sure you could use a pickup to transport your Honda E...

I forgot you can get the Model Y with a third row. From the reviews though, it’s not really functional. The Model Y is more than a foot shorter. MDX is a true three row, comparable to Model X which is almost the exact same length.

The old MDX sold in about the same numbers as the X5 or the GLE, and easily outsells 1.5x the XC90, despite being long in the tooth. You might not notice them (especially the old model) but they are very popular.

I agree. I’d be much more interested in a “sport hybrid” model of MDX (or especially RDX) that would give it electric oomph and maybe a few more mpg. The whole industry is going electric and Acura is blithely putting out cars to compete with last year’s X5.

Towing isn’t really the target for Acura. They’re going for performance SUV market and they’re coming for the Germans. If you look at the base models of German luxury SUVs, Acura matches them or beats them in most performance metrics, and offers compelling value. Prices of most luxury SUVs are deceptive since the

Your comparing apples to oranges. Both cars you mentioned aren’t three row SUVs. Nor are they luxury vehicles. And 0-60 is not the only measure of a car’s performance.

Apparently every asshat in a Grand Cherokee bombing the highways these days. GC drivers are the worst, amiright?

I’m in no way defending assaulting anyone with a vehicle, but surrounding a vehicle is still an unlawful restriction of movement. They were blocking him on his driver side from exiting, they were blocking him front and back from driving his car. The fact that he was able to walk surrounded by protesters and not be

Peaceful protestors do not commit unlawful imprisonment. It’s one thing to hold a protest and block traffic while marching, or even block traffic in general, but it’s a very different thing to surround someone’s car so that they cannot move and put them in fear of assault if they were to leave the car.

Next up; best food of the decade.
