I loved that they used a song that we - the audience - all know. that was a particularly creepy way to do it. and Bear McCreary's version was very cool.

I love the show unreservedly too and I've kinda been looking for an excuse to do another rewatch. Guess I have it now…
I went to a party this week that supposedly had a Star Wars theme. I told everyone my costume was modern day Carrie Fisher. I feel guilty about that.
it's also erm not exactly a major festival even in the UK circuit. I wouldn't be surprised if they were doing this because no one would hear anything about it otherwise. sorry Bath but you're not that big a deal.
You get letter grades in your GCSE exams (aged 16) as well as A-levels (aged 18) because those are things administered externally to schools. When I was at school we had all sorts of results, percentages for some kinds of test/coursework and letter grades for others. It might have been standardised more between…
hooray for Z Nation and for recognition of its awesomeness!
I think season one is a lot of fun, and worth watching - there's a lot of cool stuff in it as well as characters' journeys etc. I wouldn't skip it just because AVC was late to the party.
Hutcherson is so adorable <3.
"Aphex and Autechre etc. all over it."
There was an interview with Nicholas Burns in the Guardian for the tenth anniversary, he said even now not a day goes past without someone shouting 'Totally Mexico!' at him in the street.
It's well fucking futile.
Yeah I'm still all like 'but what was going to HAPPEN, damn it!' with Carnivale.
I only read it a couple of months ago, and I really liked it too.
I do wish ongoing things hadn't counted, though - Rick & Morty, Broad City, Steven Universe all have new stuff from 2015, I believe. Making it be only stuff cancelled before this year might have led to more choices that people had missed.
It sounds kind of Jane Austeny.
I really like Eisenberg, Snyder and Affleck. Cavill seems OK too. I gather these opinions make me an idiot but so be it. This looks fun, also overstuffed and probably morally empty. Like a fireworks show when you're alone, you appreciate the spectacle but feel empty immediately it's over. In other words, exactly like…
And Night Moves and The Double and Zombieland. I didn't realise people disliked him so much. I love him. I even saw Holy Rollers. I even liked him in Now You See Me!
It's a shame no one's old enough nowadays to remember Lynda Carter.
An eye for an eye. Turn the other cheek. etc.
Me neither. But the worst thing about Garden State was that Braff had the nerve to write a script where he gets to kiss the hot actress du jour, as she was then. It just makes you think, what a twat, but also, how did he get away with that? If I wrote a terrible film about a chubby boring failure of a woman (played by…
