I’m probably going to sign up for the premium PS plus. I never had PS Plus for my PS4 but now that I’ve a PS5 with more room under the hood. I think I’ll take a punt with it.

I know people are going to jump on me about this, but how exactly is glitching a game into ending “beating” it.

Yeah, fuck people with friends.

Yeah the amount of gatekeeping and opinions on the “wrong way” to play this game really gets on my nerves. Apperently if you use co-op or ashes you aren’t really playing the game and need to “get gud”.  To me that is like someone saying “You aren’t good at Mario unless you beat it without jumping”.  It’s a game

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a diehard fan of the non-pvp aspects of the FromSoft games, but their pvp (and the subsequent community surrounding it) has been literal garbage fires since Demon’s Souls came out on PS3.

The FromSoft community is filled with tryhards and gatekeepers. I’ve been invaded by twinked out characters with rivers of blood (a relatively end-game weapon) at level 40 before I had even beaten the first major legacy dungeon boss.

FromSoft encourages and nourishes the most toxic people in gaming, and they love them

Yeeeep. I'm a recent convert and enjoying the games, but haven't touched PVP due to shit like this.

Invaded at RL1 by the Church of Elleh and managed to intercept a Moonveil being dropped for a new player!

I’d give anything for y’all to assign a Borderlands review to someone who actually enjoys the series, or at least enjoys scatological humor. Every reviewer y’all line up to play a Borderlands game (including Ethan’s earlier review round-up) always makes sure to note their highbrow-disdain for the pee-pee poo-poo humor

These would be better if they were not staged.

i understand that it was already explained why this review was delayed, however it is very funny that it is posted after an article listing games to play now that you beat this game.

It’s because they didn’t get advanced copies.

OK, so what’s up with this format of just copy/pasting other people’s reviews instead of reviewing stuff?

In GT7 I would like to have users enjoy lots of cars and races even without microtransactions. At the same time, the pricing of cars is an important element that conveys their value and rarity, so I do think it’s important for it to be linked with real-world prices.”

The problem isn’t even Always Online. It’s that Sony promised it wouldn’t make games like this back in 2013 and for that stint it earned the success of the PS4 era. Here we are, not even ten years later. This represents a broken promise.

Yea, me either.  I’m not paying for a year subscription and the cost of the game, which would be around $200

I really don’t want bigger games. I’m already not touching Valhalla (despite loving Assassin’s Creed), because it’s so daunting (and disrespectful of my time... at least going by previous games).

A game that requires an internet connection even for single player mode is a total no-go for me. This is just stupid.

I mean, nerfing Hoarfrost to the ground roughly 1 hour before I got to this boss really hurt...

Kotaku really needs to figure out a better video player. The compression on this makes it look like a muddy PS3-era game.
