Racist wingnuts spent the entire time Obama was in the White House accusing him and his family of being lazy, entitled, and lacking class.

I’d rather be reincarnated with the confidence of this guy and his ilk. You know, mediocre white guys.

Can I please be reincarnated as a conservative white guy?

What a weird culture. People’s brains are just wigging me out today. Who says “black women don’t watch horror movies” just because you don’t know of any (which also doesn’t make sense because Traccy is black, and she wants to make one)? How do you know? Have you met every black woman on the planet? Have you taken a

Europeans need to drop the wide-eyed, innocent act. Oh, is that considered racist? We have no concept of that here. Yeah fucking right. Liars.

Finally somebody else who also doesn’t like Three Billboards. The movie goes out of it’s way of addressing the plights of women but glosses over the marginalization of black people. Like, the racist cop pretty much gets away with the torturing of a black man and throwing a guy off a two story building with nothing but

THIS^^^^^

I have fully embraced bitchiness. It’s my baseline naturally, but recently I realized that I’ve been overcorrecting for some time. I kept getting engaged with and, like, caught up in fucking weird ass conversations with weird ass people... which honestly I’m not used to because I can apparently be intimidating? Thus

I’ll never understand how these morons manage to turn a bunch of women saying, “Don’t grab us or show us your dicks without being asked to” , into nobody can ever interact with women or they’ll be accused of harassment.

I am surprised that this wasn’t already in place. Many businesses only allow work supplied cell phones to be used at work for these reasons. The phones may still be used for personal use, but with the understanding that anything they are used for may be recorded/archived.

In my experience, the people hovering behind desks are the ones instituting the no-personal-calls policy, not the ones violating it. Also policies like this are some micromanaging bullshit – if your employees need to have their phones literally confiscated in order to get their work done, then your problem isn’t

Not surprising in the slightest. Dudes practically get gold star awards for parenting their own children, why wouldn’t they get more pay for being preschool teachers? I mean, we have to reward them for working with children, there are so few men teaching preschool now!

That statement from Google made me see red. Oh, I’m SO FUCKING GLAD they “work really hard” to not be sexist assholes. Work fucking harder, especially with employees who aren’t in tech. Fuck anyone who underpays child care workers, especially with grossly sexist pay disparities like this one.

i’m getting some mileage out of this today...

It is considered a matter of privacy and actually gauche (I guess) to discuss individual salaries. But the norm of non-transparency in salaries by companies is one of the main tools they use against workers, from the level of wages to wage disparities based on gender, race, or other.

If you do great at interviewing, you can make more money, eh?

The problem with people like him, is they get away with this so much at home, acting like this with practically no repercussion (or actively ignoring the problems/consequences) that they think they can do whatever they want, no matter what the situation or location.

It’s more than that—we Japanese have a VERY strong sense of privacy (as Brian mentions) where being shown in public has much stronger invasive feelings than are thought of in the US. For example, there was a massive public outcry when Google did it’s google maps street view for the first time, and the camera was

I applaud this effort, but I hope the same BS games American employers play aren’t allowed here.
