I kind of liked the Babysitter movies. Crazy and camp, but entertaining slashers.
I agree with the others here. Get through episode three and that groundwork pays off. If you’re hoping for non-stop pew pew, you might be disappointed, but it is a heist/espionage show.
This thread will just be gripes about what should be where, but I’d be interested to see where some would have been had they not been cancelled, like ‘Teenage Bounty Hunters’ or others that were either incomplete or had worn out there welcome, like ‘Orange is the New Black’. I’d also differentiate, sometimes, between…
We’re in the same boat. You still getting the so-sorry 45 day emails?
I really liked the Frank Grillo movie, ‘Boss Level’. Equating the time loop to a video game was a nice touch. Die, learn a little more, try again and again until you succeed. Much like ‘Edge of Tomorrow’, but overtly gamey.
I agree on Farley. They have so many problems and once you run out of fingers to point, the thumbs end up pointing right back at the big guy.
There’s probably a Florida addendum for that that increases either the idiocy level or the number of (or both).
Seconded. Since american recipes tend to trend towards measurements that are more about volume, weight is more exact and consistent.
I knew ‘Lord of the Rings’. ‘Fast and Furious’, you are no ‘Lord of the Rings!’
Don’t feed the trolls.
Not sure if we necessarily ate poverty food. I just didn’t like anything my mom made. Moved in with my dad after a few years and while the food was better, I could see why she filed for divorce. We haven’t spoken in years and I now appreciate my mom’s food.
I feel you there. We lived with my mom after the folks divorced and it was pretty spartan. She was determined not to end all dependence on him so decided on no alimony or support. I would have killed for Ponderosa though. We had a lot of whatever was cheap, which ironically in that age, were vegetables and cuts of…
At least you got one scheduled. I watch the forums and see them spitting out higher trim and fleet orders and then picking the rest out of a hat. There is no rhyme or reason and they still let more orders in than they could accommodate. The orders were 65% hybrid and 35% ecoboost and their manufacturing capacity is…
Didn’t realize it either until I was looking up why the finale was so underwhelming. They usually have some significant cliffhanger, which was missing.
Might be because they only aired half the season so far. At least on some platforms, they don’t drop a season until complete or right before a subsequent season drops. That, or they keep jumping it around platforms and channels. I think Yellowstone has aired on Paramount, CMT, and I think Peacock or NBC had rights…
I’m surprised an accomplished movie actor stuck it out this long. TV has to be a grind when you are used to cranking out movies at your convenience.
That didn’t happen...yet. That could be where the pipeline story comes into play.
You forgot the archetypal portrayals and the superfluous horses doing spinny shit and skidding around. I actually like the show, but it is definitely one note. I actually liked 1883 and 1923 to a lesser degree because the tropes and writing of the parent show fit better into those time periods.
Joe Montana wasn’t the biggest fan either and he was there, albeit a freshman. He says he was carried off the field as a prank and that no one was chanting his name. He did give Rudy credit for how hard he tried, but imagine being a hall of fame quarterback and always being asked about the kid who played a couple…
