FWIW. Weird that ‘Heaven Can Wait’ is a titular remake of 1943's ‘Heaven Can Wait’, but has little in common plot-wise. 1941's ‘Here Comes Mr. Jordan’ is actually the original and James Mason’s character in HCW is named Mr. Jordan and the plot of that is about a boxer and not a quarterback.

We had a hell of a stretch where State Farm covered everything and didn’t drop us. A wind and hail storm forced us to get a new roof - covered and even covered new gutters and siding on half of the house. Hit a deer and caused 7k damage - covered. Wheel flew out of a pick up and hit my wife’s car and caused another 7k

By the time your cars peter out, you might be able to actually order and receive a Maverick hybrid in the same year.  This from someone who’s been waiting a year for theirs.

Being purchased by a German conglomerate will do that.  Both of my kids worked at Panera at the time and shit went downhill after that.

No matter how attractive they have become, Kia will always be the shitty minivan we had in the early aughts.  They could come up with the fabled water engine and I would only have to think back to the 100,000 mile warranty that covered absolutely nothing that went wrong with that hunk of shit.

Its good. We’re most of the way through season 1. If you like Taylor Sheridan joints like Yellowstone, 1883, 1923, Tulsa King, etc. you’ll like it. Like his other works, it relies heavily on macho archetypes for all the male and female leads. It gets tiresome at times, but still a good ride.

Episodes 4-6 took that approach and they’re still the best.

I have an outstanding Maverick order and might be tempted to switch to an Ecoboost for 2500, but it would have to be 2500 off my quoted MSRP plus destination on my existing order.  I can see dealers trying to finagle another 2500 out of you like EV dealers boosting the price, knowing about EV credits.

A great condition example of my favorite model (even with square headlights).  I love this year and the condition of this one, but still ND.  14k seems reasonable and 20k if I really were jonesing for one, but 38?

Based on the classic black-haired, chiseled chin ‘Superman’ look, the Novogratz kid fits the bill.  Haven’t seen him act though.

Dealing with that with my Ford Maverick order.  Seeing many newer orders fulfilled that were lux and Lariat packages while my modest build languishes interminably.

Dollars to donuts that price goes up accordingly before any of those hit the lots.

The writer of the book wrote one book, made bank, and then fucked off into retirement and I respect him for it. I actually kind of like the movie and respect the effort that went into it and the decision to not film the pervier aspects of the book though the book is far superior.

If you mentioned ‘Boring Lump of Clay’ without any context, I could probably drill it down to Sam Worthington pretty quickly.  That, or Jai Courtney.

I hope all the shitty crypto spots die as well.

I have to go to Vegas annually for work. There is no easy way to get anywhere. You want to go right across the street? Double back to one of the cornerstone casinos, walk around the busted-ass escalators, go across the sky bridge, go down and around those busted-ass escalators while avoiding panhandlers and buskers

I think it is more complicated than being a set.  For example, on a physical set, if you decide to shoot from a different angle, your limitations are the physical boundaries of the set.  With Volume, reblocking a shot means re-rendering the stage.  The backgrounds would have to be re-rendered to offset any

While I don’t fault anyone that had a leg up by way of wealth or connections, I do feel a little more proud of the many who made it entirely on their own like the Brad Pitt or Jon Hamm (I live in Missouri, so those are top of mind). On the other hand, I’m a little disappointed when I find out someone is related to

Casamigos is legit and Aviation isn’t too bad.  While Casamigos isn’t my favorite, it is an accessible tequila.  Their mezcal is my favorite and their reposado is high on my list for sipping tequila.
