That’s not even the only Sad Clown Mitt face from the dinner, either. I think he’s humiliated, but by what part of this shitshow he’s willingly got himself into?

I think you’re right in a lot of ways, though realistically I don’t think there’s any way a reasonable person has any sort of discernible impact in this administration. That’s part of the reason why I’m not as enthusiastic about Mitt as I was a couple weeks ago. If he’s as reasonable as I thought he was, why does he

What does that even mean though. Aren’t rich white people generally unaccustomed to groveling?

Ugh that’s so gross. Christie is so sniveling and pathetic.

I’m actually not really complaining about the other cabinet picks. Not that I’m OK with it all, but it’s not surprising. They are pretty much as I expected. It’s horrible and depressing but I’m not getting outraged at each new pick. Mitt Romney is a confusing character to me, that’s all. I don’t really buy the people

I actually don’t remember ANYONE feeling that way. Do you live in Utah?

Well Mitt also didn’t lift a finger - just said some stuff. He’s super wealthy, he could have put up some money to bolster his position. His anti-Trump rhetoric seemed like nonsense to me - literally no one gives a shit what you think, bro. So like what’s his deal? Is he just in the business of humiliating himself

Right but what does he gain from people having some slightly positive feelings about him? He seems like an opportunist to me but not like a fundamental piece of shit the way people like Dick Cheney are. Dick Cheney would never humiliate himself like that.

Would really like to know what Mitt’s endgame is here. For a long time I was in the “Mitt is trying to do public service by going to work for someone he hates because there has to be at least one semi-reasonable person in the whole of the cabinet” but then it just seemed he’s doing a Christie. That look on his face in

Hahahaaaaa I love how that one goes on the ceiling thank you for posting this. Straw Feminists is always in my heart but not always in the forefront of my brain.

So you’re suggesting that trolls are organized and have a mission? And they call people “libtards” and say “i love how mad liberals are right now” as part of an organized campaign? I don’t see it. That seems too pat.

That’s an interesting analysis. I ordinarily try to refrain from using a broad brush to explain the actions of people I don’t like/understand, but it is reasonable to assume that happy, satisfied people don’t feel the need to seek out conflict.

Why do you think it’s so bad? I’m sorry you’ve been fooled. It’s men we need to fear. MEN.

Obviously, but why is THIS how they handle it? Like there are people who are excited about Dan Quayle simply because liberals supposedly don’t like him. But given how obscure he’s been since the 90s, conservatives don’t really like him either. So why not bully him?

But this is different. It’s not just “abuse” - there’s an element of self-sabotage in it. Like they are handling their anxiety with bullying because it’s the only thing they know how to do, sure. But why focus on a strawman? These people certainly have bigger fish to fry even within their own stated political concerns.

So like. Why do conservatives like seeing liberals mad so much? To the point that it seems to be literally all many of them care about in the political realm? To the point that they spend time making sockpuppet commenter accounts on sites like this, simply for the point of trolling? I mean I understand taking an

How do you suggest we “attack the policies?” Best we can do is call our reps.
