The “she’s in prison” excuse is so baffling to me. Like yeah, guess what. Being in prison at all - even if it’s one of those “cushy” Norwegian prisons - is a fucking punishment. People lose their goddamned minds if their phone update takes a long time or their pizza delivery is five minutes late. Imagine if you

Solitary confinement as “punishment” for a suicide attempt. Great. What a shining city on a hill we are.

Her husband’s father, Charles Kushner, hired a prostitute to seduce his own brother in law, filmed it and used the tape as an intimidation tactic. When Kushner’s brother in law didn’t do as Kushner demanded, the tape was sent to the BIL’s wife, Kushner’s sister. Kushner was charged with witness tampering for this.

Jeremy Scott is a fucking hack. His work is the most Emperor’s New Clothes shit of all, worse than Kanye. His aesthetic is literally just Gadzooks or Spencer’s Gifts circa 1998-2001. Anyone with even a shred of dignity should boycott all of his shit on principle.

Are you saying there’s a 5% difference or that he only has 5% of the popular vote? Because if it’s the latter, you need to look at some different polls.

I didn’t read all three paragraphs, sorry. I can say though, that Trump is very close to Clinton in his share of the popular vote. Electoral, not close. Popular vote is much closer than most Democrats seem to know.

Who’s Krang?!?!?!

I dislike the whole “let me show how magnanimous I am by saying my political opponents must be inherently good” thing but my GOD is it just blatantly disingenuous in this case. Mike Pence is a horrible, horrible person and a completely terrifying politician.

I think the American political memory, particularly among the kind of people who would vote for a Mike Pence type in the first place, is very short. Shorter than we want it to be.

His conscience? This is a dude who wants to electro-shock LGBT kids. He doesn’t have a conscience. He’s an opportunist and he knows that holding onto the VP spot win or lose puts him top of the heap for the next round of presidential elections.

Big storms are one of the only things I miss about life in the South. That and Publix. And easy hill hiking trails.

Florida: rednecks on top, Jersey Shore on the bottom

My pain level has spiked to a 10 a few times this month (like paralyzing all I can do is cry kind of pain) so I’m willing to risk the radiation exposure. Cancer in general is not much of a genetic likelihood for me. My grandfather is my only close relative to have had cancer - he was a radiologist in the 1950s and was

My doctor is good at her job, so that makes sense.

Lindsay Graham has a real stopped clock thing going on. I remember when I lived in South Carolina back in 2008 and there was something back then that was like “woah, what?” about him. I think he’s one of those Republicans who just like genuinely believes some of the shit he has to say, so it’s not as easy for him to

Interesting. I had a doctor tell me “idk, get a better bra and take some evening primrose oil” without even examining me so I had pretty much dismissed that option but you’re right. If the imaging procedure doesn’t reveal cysts, I won’t have a whole lot to lose by taking evening primrose oil (unless I’m deathly

That’s what I assumed, and I don’t think there’s any way he would drop out voluntarily either, but either way, I’m glad to hear it. It’s actually pretty terrifying to think that a political party could just change its nominee a month out from the election. I despise Trump but that would be a horrifying precedent.

Nice! I actually liked being in the hospital for the hysterectomy (it was my only vacation in 2015) but my body is already scarred up from that procedure and I’d like to avoid more random surgery bot scars if possible. I didn’t realize it was that easy of a thing. Thank you =)

Thanks!

Oh damn, that would be convenient! I’m not really worried about cancer - there isn’t much family history of cancer, and I had uterine tumors last year that turned out benign, so I feel like I’m in this routine now where something lumpy in my body is causing me pain and it turns out fine (though expensive) in the end.
