It freaks me out. Women can be — and a surprising amount are — misogynists. I will never understand the women who voted for Trump, but I do believe a lot of them wanted a male president.

And male.

I encountered some bitchy ob/gyns — kind of like, I know how it feels so you should toughen up — but the male ob/gyns have been almost deferential. I know a lot of Jezzies would never have a male ob/gyn, but I will take any provider who is respectful and doesn't condescend.

Yes, this module is speaking to my deepest fears, for sure.

Just studying neuro in nursing school now. MS is no joke, and good on her for being so public about it.

My mom had two preemies, so her body didn’t have anything but the faintest C-section scar that only she could actually see when she made a point to look carefully at it.  We had a very naked household, but it didn’t set me up to understand how those final weeks and days of pregnancy can change a body’s landmarks.

Eh, it’s cute.  My husband made a nod to his health for the first time when we had a baby.  It’s relatable.

I’m super prone to motion sickness and vertigo, so no thanks.

I’m amused by it. If I spotted someone wearing these shirts out and about, I would assume the guy was super annoying, yet would still appreciate his overly aggressive attempt at normalizing cunnilingus. I mean, we need a narrative to counter one DJ Khaled’s.

That sounded very real-life to me. The things that spice up my marriage are so random and not at all traditionally ‘sexy.’ For instance, I love the night sky, especially the moon and my husband always is amused by how happy it makes me on our nighttime strolls. Once, after an entire evening of peacefully and

Oh, Lord, where were your sage insights when I was 20? Seriously.

I am so glad you have got such a good support system. Hope your recovery flies by.

Hugs.

Every time I see it, I resent that I’m supposed to wear a shirt under my blazers.  In my heart of hearts, that is totally how I’d wear it if society wouldn’t get mad at me.

I’m sorry your friends with benefits situation makes me laugh so much.

That happened to me when I reached out to a colleague about an old job.  We were reminiscing and I mentioned the negative atmosphere and bullying and she couldn’t remember any of it.  It’s surprising how different the same place can be for different people.

This describes roughly middle school through ... 24 for me:

Ugh, I’m starting to feel that way with drinking, and it’s so awkward to tell people you don’t want to drink or, worse, “don’t drink.”  I never miss it when it’s not there, but if it is there, I drink habitually and robotically.  The trouble is, since I’ve naturally been drinking less and less, my tolerance is way,

Thank you for writing this. I identify with the cooking for the reasons you described, and I’m glad you explained Kali to me. I’d always wondered because the illustrations are so scary.

I haven’t watched the show, so thanks for the background.
