Erm, but isn’t losing a friend who stays sane better than keeping a ‘friend’ who murders you?  I’ve let friendships slide when the sexual tension became irritating because neither of us wanted to cheat on our partners, so a gentle, mutual ghosting was the more responsible choice.

I thought the same thing, but for people whose marriages were just meh to terrible, it must have been somewhat comforting to see so many of your peers stuck in the same boat and made the lucky, happy marriages seem like odd one-offs.

There totally were Trump supporters at the march. I said something anti-Trumpian to some fellow marchers and they said that they had voted for Trump, but this march was about “more than that,” whatever that means.

My toddler cannot handle movies with much plot. However, he is obsessed with My Neighbor Totoro. The mom is sick, but definitely gets better. Conflict is minimal and, somehow, despite barely being a storyline, it's all beautiful and soothing. I really don't mind playing that movie 2—4 times a week.

Ugh, we have the exact same appliances and replacing the oven with cabinets is my dream too, but I truly adore roasting entire Thanksgiving turkeys and other massive holiday dishes that are larger than my Breville Smart Oven can handle. But is it worth it to keep such a vast appliance that I use so rarely?!?!?!
