You are not factoring in superchargers though which charge at 120kw, soon 135kw.

The 3rd party would have to be a Tesla certified warp drive shop, otherwise the warranty is not covered.

I have heard of much more lamer rewards than that.

It is being held to the standard of other cars, you seem to want to push some kind of new standards on it that no one else has to abide by.

The two issues you described didn't even need service for. One was a reset, the other was a software update. Consumer Reports rated Tesla's reliability as average. There you go, a

It doesn't require so much upkeep though, review sites go in for every minor thing because they want content to post about. In reality, all those stuff can be handled at the same time. I mean do you go in for every minor thing?

The powertrain replacements were all refurbs, not brand new. Tesla replaces the powertrains to get the car into the hands of customers quicker. In reality, none of those incidents needed a powertrain replacements.

There is no escaping the fact that first year production models are always going to have minor issues here and there. Tesla is being proactive in replacing the components, so it is too early to judge at this point.

Everyone has their own grading, but when multiple publications are all pointing to Tesla being an awesome car, that is not "marketing". The Tesla Model S is an awesome car, I mean even German and UK magazines are giving Tesla good reviews and they HATE american cars.

It might depend on which sites, but personally I think Apple fanboys get far crazier than Android fanboys. You sure you might not be confusing Apple fanboys acting as Android fanboys? (Have seen a lot of that on some sites)
