That is questionable. In the case of the Bolt, it is pretty much mostly an LG car. If there is a supplier issue, Tesla can swap out suppliers. GM is tied down to LG for many crucial parts. And LG is no foreigner to build quality issues.

No one is saying electric cars work today for everyone. But as far as the majority goes, it works well for the majority who for most long trips just grab an airplane.
